From my experience w my last 2 orders, they took 3-4 weeks to get past Beijing customs, and my second order was returned to TFDIRECT, so now another round of wait at Beijing. Let see how long it'll take this time...

 

I’m getting a Chinese retail sampler platter of everything right now.

Gears from Terry’s via CNE has been really quick. Sent Oct 15th, it’s now at the airport in Vancouver.

Swerve from ShowZ via Yun Express was sent Oct 8th and also just got to the Vancouver airport.

Windcharger from Baba via Orange Connex also sent on Oct 8th at ‘Departed from Origin Country’

Some lightning effects from eBay via Orange Connex sent Oct 7th, in Canada, inspected by customs.

2 orders from Robotoybase via HongKongPost that took about 1.5-2 weeks, received this week and last week.

Things have been a bit slow but not too bad so far.

 

The unicron I ordered from baba hasnt updated in over 10 days. Is this normal? Been awhile since I've ordered a big item like this from china.

 

Unicron... I'm betting is slow shipping since he's huge.

Post-CNY may be a good time to begin to be cautious and take another look at CN-based resellers to see if they get impacted by this so you don't end up with unfilled pre-orders.

 

Man, my Windcharger from Baba has just been floating around nowhere since early October.

 

Baba sent me 3 packages before Thanksgiving. One arrived in 15 days and the others have hit the states at Customs, but are now in limbo. So frustrating.

 

Wow that is crazy. I am in center of US and it takes about 3 weeks or so to get my stuff from him. 2 weeks for showz so I use them both.

 

I have had packages from China take anywhere from 2 weeks to three months. Its pretty random. Showz packages in recent times travel time in the states has been longer than what it takes to get here from China.

 

Showz is in China I believe. Just had one ship out today from them so I will update this when I get it (xtransbots perceptor).

 

Sometimes I see items from showZ ship from the States.

 

It ships to a middle man, depending on which service they use at the time.

 

It's all I've seen some repair parts come to me.

 

As an update I did get my Baba shipments finally on 1/14. Now my aliexpress order from Bombusbee...that hasnt even hit customs still...over 2 months since ordering

Got my xtransbots perceptor about 15 days after ordering. Got another item last week from them and was just under 3 weeks from order to my door in states (from showz).

 

Recently, it took 42 days for HK post and Polish post to get the stuff to me. Praise ShowZ for using Yun Express/Yanwen (takes 9-14 days usually)

 

Anyone know if HongKong Post is back up sending by air internationally? It's kinda hard to tell if it's still down or what's going on?
