Picking up from Customs sometimes takes awhile sometimes as well.

 

I just saw this thread but yeah, I ordered something from Show Z Store on Nov 26th. By the beginning of January there was no status update on the shipping, and when I contacted them, they just said they are sending another. Now it's about a month later and the second one has been in customs I guess for about 3 weeks.

This is far from the first time I ordered something from a Chinese store, but this is the first time from Show Z and the first time anything I ordered has been in customs so long.

 

Oh yeah, I know. I mean I literally don’t know what it’s doing! NY Customs is a mixed bag a lot of times. I’ve had things sail through in 2 days before. Chicago on the other hand is a week minimum no matter what.

Truthfully I’m just happy to see it updated at all

 

im glad when i do buy from china all my shit hits cali customs first. if i had to deal with the east coast customs i think i would stop buying from overseas.

I have an order from ShowZ from Jan 14th says it’s shipped and there’s a tracking number but the status is waiting to ship. Does that mean it’s still with them do to the craziness or did it just not get scanned somewhere?

 

Maybe. I expect this to be an adult, by the time it gets to me.(I ordered someone's second baby)

 

This is why I might not shop at Show Z. I'm on the West Coast and usually my items go through Cali customs.

 

Showz doesn’t choose where it gets sent to.... that’s pretty much up to the mailer, plane, boat, etc

 

Unless I’m reading this wrong, that’s the perfect reason TO shop ShowZ. Big packages are going to take forever but everything else typically makes it to me in Michigan in about 2 weeks. The holidays are just the worst time to order is all and the coronavirus just made it worse.

 

I am honestly glad big powered was in customs for so long instead of the estimated couple of days in transit. Better safe than sorry when it comes to the Wuhan Flu

 

When I bring Show Z up, people have defended it. I am glad you had good experiences with them and maybe it's just bad luck, but ordering similar things through similar retailers has yielded better results. I have no reason to continue shopping with Show Z.

I should also add that I ordered something from TF-Direct, which also sources their products from China, at the start of December and got it before Christmas.

Also, I am not blaming Show Z for the long wait at customs. Just to make that clear. But, if their packages go to New York where other places send them to California, it just makes sense that it will get to me faster.

 

I had baba ship me Winged Dragon and it was picked up by China Post on Jan 16, arrived at ISC New York on Jan 28th and no updates since then.

On the other hand, the Incursus I got from PSX was picked up by SF Express on Jan 15th and was delivered on Jan 27th. After which I let it sit for an extra week before daring to open and touch it.  

 

I gotten 2 shipments from china of late.

ShowZ and an Ebay seller just today. Ordered about few weeks ago from the Ebay seller and ShowZ was a replacement which came in a week after reported when they started shipping from the CV update on their site.

 

One time i ordered Giga Swoop from ShowZ and it took well over 40 days to get it. I am not shitting on ShowZ but just sharing my experience for what it is worth.

I only order small crap during Nov-Jan. In this case, what im posting is a OS Dropkick from Giftlove.

 

A few of my suppliers are back to work (in neighboring town/not near Wuhan   ). I placed an order with them and they'll deliver tomorrow. Will see if domestic shipping is actually back then next step is international.

 

Guangzhou has now been locked down. A city of 14 million.

This and ShenZhen are the 2 biggest cities in the Guangdong province, where a lot of toy manufacturing happens.

 

Day 68. Still don't have my Capone, but signs of life, you guys. Now, with any other order by the time I see this I get it the next day or the day after, so theoretically tomorrow or Tuesday. That being said, it usually take 25 days to get to Pittsburgh after being processed at JFK and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it still takes another month.

 

A couple of sites are now saying that deliveries are further delayed until February 17th: Hasbro store on Aliexpress and TFSafari.
