What happened with hxli7777_5 ?

 

I purchased both Giga Guttur ($125.99) and Grassor ($115.99) on May 20th. I did not get a shipping notice for 6 days, but there was no activity or movement on the packages. After another week of no activity I messaged the seller with my concern and he asked me to please wait and check later. I kindly informed him that after 2 weeks there should be movement, as most packages I order from China arrive to my home within that time. He said he double-checked the tracking and it is correct. I finally saw movement a few days ago on June 2nd, both packages indicate they have been received at sorting center, and as of June 3 both packages say leaving parcel center in Beijing.

In my overseas ordering experiences, 2 weeks to leave China is too slow.

Update : YM Dirge arrived from bababobo00712 just over a week from china, smooth as ever.

 

He just received a negative feedback today for an item not received. Can't say that's a promising sign.

An update on my Quakeblast purchase from shenzhouxing2013. My tracking number showed some strange behavior so I went to my local post office Saturday where it was supposed to be. The guy there said that they located the package and I should get it on Monday. Monday passed with nothing delivered, and this morning I got a call from the post office that they had it. I checked the tracking and it said "Delivered, PO Box".

So I go to the post office and the guy comes back with a very small box about a few inches in size. He showed me the label on it and it had the wrong name and a street address that doesn't exist. It also had a tracking number different from the one I got, but he said when scanned it shows my number. Anyways, I told him that couldn't be what I was supposed to get so he said he'd return it to sender and printed me out some info. I hope this doesn't present any issues with getting my refund.

So basically, I was scammed like others by this seller. I payed $52 for it, which I thought was a good deal and not too cheap. Lesson learned though, when I purchase from ebay it will only be from highly trustworthy ebay sellers such as baba from now on.

 

This has happened to me a couple of times. You need to take pictures of the package with the tracking number and possibly a video of the postal service worker scanning the package and it showing the tracking number you were given as evidence to eBay.

The last time this happened to me I received a janky bracelet instead the transformer I had ordered. I took pictures of package and tracking number on the package and emailed ebay promptly and explained what was going on. I was issued a refund within in an hour.

 

This is the first time it happened to me, so thanks for the advice.
