I probably didn't look hard enough but is mascotzone reliable? It says that they've been on Ebay since 07' but I've also seen long running Chinese sellers switch to scamming in the past few years.

 

i won a TF for cheap by auction back it April and got the figure delivered without an issue.

mascotzone better still be reliable. Ordered a MP-44 Optimus 4th Party from him last week. It's still processing and hasn't been sent yet, but I'll chalk that down to those figures still being delivered to different sellers. He did list it as a pre-order so I'll give him some time to verify when he's getting stock.

I recently bought a KFC Transistor from the seller wolvesbabies. It could be an empty box for all I know, but it did come. I'll report more on it when I open it.

 

Yep. Just without the USA sales tax and with slightly lower prices due to no Ebay seller fees.

I actually logged on before bed to check my e-Bay summary and send mascotzone a message seeing if he could estimate a delivery date. I'll post here when I hear from him about a shipping date.

Same with wolvesbabies and my TE-03 Mirage pre-order. He said it would ship in about 3 weeks and that was exactly 3 weeks ago today so I'm anxious to get a notice from him as well. I'll be following up with him if I don't get a notice by next Friday.

 

And just like that mascotzone shoots back a reply within 20 minutes. I take his response as by the end of October, so that's within the next couple weeks.

mascotzone and wolvesbabies are the same seller?

 

To my knowledge, it was confirmed awhile ago that mascotzone, mascot_home, wolvesbabies, and clevertiger16 were all the same seller/group. And it's strongly believed mascotworld4u is also part of them as well, but still unconfirmed.

 

bought an TF combiner from bid_bid_good and had some missing/broken parts. took a few msgs back/forth before getting him to understand what i needed and had to pay an extra $1 to have those parts shipped out, but got it without issues. also my initial order took a personal record of 5 days to get delivered, and replacement parts came in 16 days.  

 

While I certainly appreciate how many sellers will ship me replacement parts at no additional cost, charging just $1 seems rather silly and likely not worth the effort involved at all.

 

Back on Post #14241 I quoted Venomboy88 who seemed to have direct communication confirming this. China Ebay Seller Check - New-comers READ FIRST POST!! I wish I wrote down post numbers when other folks have confirmed Chinese sellers are groups like mascotzone and the mr.brain/yellowb association. I'm not sure if the "Search in this thread" function always picks up these names when we convert them into hyperlinks. Makes it tough to find these old posts.

 

Always makes me wonder just what other sellers are linked groups or accounts, or who is associated with who. Not just for legit sellers, but I wonder, what are the chances there are like, 10-15 TF scammers, and they just keep recycling accounts/usernames creating this false impression it's widespread, but on the flip side, there's only like 10-15 good TF sellers with multiple accounts and grouping, creating the impression it's really widespread as well?

 

wolvesbabies has finally provided me a tracking number for TE-03 Mirage/Phantom. He's also updated his page from "pre-order" to "in-stock". I hope that waiting this long means I get a later run with the waist correctly assembled by the factory.
Still no movement on the MP-44 KO Prime from mascotzone. But he did say "this month" (end of this month) so no surprises.
