I'd hate to say it but it is just as I've suspected. I think you've been scammed by zfy2018fy5. I highly doubt you will receive your order. $150 shipped is too good to be true for Roadking even for Ebay.
zfy2018fy5 may have been good but he may have just turned scammer. That price has red flags all over it. That price makes sense on Taobao but not Ebay.

1. The seller you used is not on the Good Sellers list on the first post of this thread
2. You jumped at a super low price on Ebay which is what is warned against on the first post of this thread. Don't fall for too good to be true prices. There are scammers selling Roadking under $100 shipped.

You may want to call Paypal (see first post) to cancel your order for a refund.


These are the only 2 currently reliable Chinese Ebay sellers that have Roadking in stock and they are both priced at $169-$170. That is about the normal price for Chinese sellers.

Of course, the risk is mine. But I also wouldn't say 149 vs. 169 is a super low, and as you point out that negative feedback you highlighted was just added today and not present at the time of my order.

 

Any price below $160 shipped on Ebay is a red flag. Of course the choice is yours on how to proceed next.

I suspect my little Starscream won't be making it. It's been a week since the purchase and no response. At least it was a small purchase to use a $3 coupon. Will give it another day for them to respond to my second message and file something with PayPal and then eBay to get my coupon.

Will see what happens with my Road King from cangquan1971 that was at $152. Tracking shows it left the regional distribution centre and export declaration filed. So something is on its way to my postal code and will probably get it by end-of-week.

Got a question for everybody, one*day_bid and robotoybase both have the same toy I want.. but robotoybase will be $6 more due to shipping cost. I never purchased from robotoybase.. but who do you think i should go with? Uncle billy shop is the cheapest by 10% but I am a bit weary to buy from them with all these images of severely damaged packages.

It's the box in the front... still no guarantee that you won't have dented corners.

 

Ya, i ordered from them before and my box had some wear at one of the corners. Other than that.. everything else is fine. Uncle billy shop is the cheapest but risky due to the treatment of their packages from their handlers.

 

Pretty sure you saw the damage to one of my boxes from a couple of months back on this thread... box was shot to hell but the figure was still okay. All depends on whether you keep your boxes or not. If you're happy with the way one*day_bid ships their packages, its the safer bet.

Did a thread search and only one result for maojie1990. One person asked if anyone has purchased from them, that was back in Feb. Anyone had any recent experience? Positive feedback for this seller so far apart from 1 negative in the past month

 

Why would someone feel the need to make fun of someone else's spelling issues?

 

Just do an ebay search for "MP-XX Nameofcharacter" on Ebay. Sort the results from lowest price to highest price. The lower priced items at the top of the list will be the KOs (you check the description). Check the seller name and then see if that seller appears on the Good Sellers list on the first post of this thread.

 

You don't know what "red" means in business terms?

Use the guide and instructions on the first post of this thread and you should be fine 9/10. That's why we direct newcomers to this thread to read the first post first.
