I thought I would share my excitement with the release of this new CD that came out today. I haven't heard a solid rock CD like this in a long time. For those that don't know, this band is comprised of:

Sammy Hagar - Vocals
Joe Satriani - Lead Guitar
Michael Anthony - Bass Guitar
Chad Smith - Percussion

meh, not my cup of tea

 

I bought the album earlier but I've been at work all day so I haven't been able to listen to it.

Of course my first reaction is that they need to ditch the ******ed case gimmicks. The heat sensitive deal on the first album was useless and the 3d glasses thrown in the second one is good for maybe one view of the pictures. Gee, I wonder why their album is $4 more than any of the other new releases?  

Hopefully the album is good enough to get that bad taste out of my mouth. The first one was 'alright' but I like Chad Smith enough to warrant buying this one.

 

I'm a fan of Satch, sp I may pick this up.

 

Did anybody open a thread for the new Primus album? Les stomps Sammy's ass about five hundred different ways.

 

I borrowed their first disc from the local library and put it on my iPod, but wouldn't mind finding the other two. For free.

 

It's a fantastic album. I love the 'Foot! Saw them twice on tour for the first album, and all lined up to see them again Nov. 8th in NYC.
