So I'm curious, is this the climax or more the middle, possibly the intro. Thoughts?

I kinda want it to be in the middle. I think it would make a good dramatic point point in the movie. I would perfer the final fight to be in some other locale. Don't know where though.

Have you seen how much makeshift destruction they have on the Chicago set? It's insane. I'm 99% sure that it's meant to be the finale, especially since all the principal actors (Shia, Rosie, Tyrese, and Josh) are on set along with all (or the majority of) the Autobots.

But, only time will really tell.

Isn't Moscow also supposed to be the sight of a big battle as well? My thoughts are that this could be a fairly big/important part of the filming, but the final duel in Moscow, though going by history, the overseas battles have been used earlier on in films (Shanghai and Qatar both used in first halves of TF1 and ROTF) but then again, final battle was in Egypt.

Wait and see what filming from Moscow brings us and we'll have a better idea.

When I saw Shia on set last week, he had a gash on his forehead. Usually, human battle-damage happens near the end of the film

But John Turturro (Simmons) and Ramon Rodriguez (Leo) are nowhere to be seen so far there in Chicago... so... unless Michael Bay killed both characters on the first part of the movie...

We don't know if the movie is going to be a two acts one like Transformers2 or a classic three acts one like the first Transformers movie.

What is for sure is that something huge is missing from the puzzle yet...

The movie is at least going to be as long as the first one in the 140minutes range.. but maybe they will go up to 165minutes range like Avatar..

Oh yes.. I forgot to add another surely important actor that no one has seen in Chicago yet.. John Malkovich...
I doubt that he is going to have a role smaller than Patrick Dempsey so I'd say that we are missing a lot of things still unknown from the movie...

The battle in Chicago is likely to happen in the first half of the movie.. otherwise those three actors would have appeared already..

Yeah. But that's information regarding specific Transformers. This is regarding an actual scene/filming location. I don't recall Bay saying that Egypt wasn't going to be in ROTF, or that the Hoover Dam was a hoax.
