Well, me and a friend go to thinking after the images of the bot mode and head of the Chevy Trax was leaked, and we both agree that it would be awsome if the Trax was Wheeljack. I know alot of people dont like the head design, but if you think about it that Wheeljack is a mad scientist, it almost makes sence, with scruffs of "hair" on the sides of his head, and a scraggly beard, plus the lazy eye adds more to the effect. I dont know, just some speculation. I know alot of people would be pissed if it was Wheeljack, but I think it would be an awsome new take on the character.
It's going to be Wheelie because with a head like that it couldn't possibly be anything less ******ed.
Personally, I'd much rather Wheeljack be the Corvette-bot. No matter what, I could still rename the Corvette-bot Wheeljack, and call the Trax-bot Wheelie or something. That and I personally don't think that the "head" picture was actually his head, or if it was it wasn't complete or even a really early design that has since changed. No offense to you and every one else that shares this particular opinion, but I still don't understand all the hate for anything to do with the name Wheelie. Yeah his personality in G1 can be very annoying, but that is no reason to, imo, blindly hate anything to do with the name. It's like hating everybody with the name John because you once met someone you couldn't stand who happened to be named John.
I MUST DESTROY ALL JOHN HURRRRR but seriously, the name hatred thing just comes from basic word association like if you ever met someone named adolf, you'd think of hitler the thought may just be brief, but it's there human psychology is weird like that
I don't mean that he's just going to be named Wheelie, I meant that he'll be an exact replica voice/character-wise as the G1 Wheelie.
It still isn't right. Personally, if I met someone named Adolf, the first thing I would think of is that their parents have a somewhat sick sense of humor, or they don't know anything about that particular bit of history. Either way, it's still bias against someone purely because of their name. I think that's one thing we don't have to worry about. Yeah, the characters in the first movie weren't that far off from their past incarnations, but they weren't exact replicas. Even Orci admits to disliking Wheelie, so I think it's safe to guess that Bay either has no idea of the character, or doesn't like him either. I could be wrong, but that's my guess.
although that image looks alot like it could be the back of a bot, if its the trax it doesn't have the doors on the back like in the other picture of the bot so it looks like a face to me and it looks like a beat up old bot in fact the ears that are hanging strongly resemble hearing aids. I would guess that it's kup. I remember when there was news on this site that quoted bay saying he was interested in doing an "old" transformer. Granted that could be misinformation but I'm suprised no one else thought the bot looked old.
Wrong... Wheeljack should be the Saab Sero-X and Hotrod the Vetter... As for the Chevy Trax... I m guessing a new character...
As far as we know, the Saab isn't even in this movie, let alone a TF in it. Other than the article put up on April 1st, there are no other signs pointing to the Saab having anything to do with TF:ROTF.
I'm sure the supposed head shot is not the head shot, bayformers, all of them are awesome looking, even if you don't like the designs all look menacing and badass, he's not going to change that by approving one stupid ass design.
