Heh since seeing your post that's actually in a way what I've been doing. Both my original and ressue are pretty great as far as QC goes but there's a few imperfections here and there, one of the reissue face plates has some missing gold on one ear so I'm swapping it for the original's. Aside from that it's vastly superior, lovely tight joints and those improved shoulder clips are fantastic. My original is also missing a tab that locks the crotch in place in both modes...is that another improvement on the reissue? The original has a bit of paint damage and bent whiskers from transforming and doesn't have those better shoulders so the reissue will be my bot mode/display figure and the original will be my beast mode/mess about figure.

For me it's the rivets. Same as the original release.
The tightness is easily alleviated by applying heat to the rivet (with a soldering iron or hot screwdriver), making it expand and widening the plastic around it.

Got the reissue, anyone else have issues with the spots rubbing off? I spent a lot of time messing with the am panels trying to get them to correctly plug in behind the head and rubbed off a decent bit of the spots on those panels. Ughhhhh

Sadly the deco on both this and the original is quite fragile(Same goes for Primal). It's very easy to scratch...exercise extreme care.

The reissues must has better paint app because I have handled 32 Primal more than any other MP in my collection and I have zero paint defects on him. I haven't had the same time to handle 34 though but I will say 32 has some of the strongest paint when comparing at least to 17+, 20+, 25, 29+, 30, 34, 36 and 39

Got my replacement Cheetor today. Better eyes and no paint on the paw. However i noticed something on the heads. On the new one I got today there is some overspray of the light colored paint onto the yellow on the face. Its the same on all 3 of the new heads. On the first one i got its not like that. Trying to figure out if the replacement i got is not a reissue. Please see the pic below. New one is on the right

Are you talking about the 32 Reissue? Because my Original 32 looks like he has alopecia it's got so bad on the calfs, shoulder pads and wrists. That was NOT well applied paint/coating at all.

Still waiting on my Cheetor - third time's the charm with this guy.

Pretty sure you got a dud. Which absolutely sucks! :(

My MP32's paint is still pristine after many many transformations.

as i mentioned before in the other beast wars threads, i’m not really a beast wars fan but their mp line seems to be pretty decent, refreshing almost. perhaps it’s because they’re something different from just being planes or cars.

this dude is my second in the line after megs. not too shabby, although i wish their bot mode kibbles are better hidden. i do wish his hind paws had ankle tilt for better posing though.

will open primal later tonight, dinobot will have to wait for the reissue later this year.

I posted about them a long time ago and some animal enthusiast mentioned that real cheetahs don’t have nipples there and that I had a “dirty mind” :D

Tolerances on this one were much better than the previous copy. Everything on the first one was way too tight. The shoulders do not come apart when moving the arm.

BTW i had to pay DHL $120 to ship this back to amazon which is ridiculous but its how they wanted it shipped.  Now I gotta message them to get that refunded.

My point was if he has the new shoulder clips he is a reissue.....that's a sure fire was of differentiating them. Isn't that what you were trying to work out?

No it was the beast mode heads. One has more of an overspray on them and its consistent on all three of them.

So you thought your reissue Cheetor came with non-reissue heads? I'm confused..have I got the wrong end of the stick or did you not explain yourself properly?

:lol  I probably didnt explain myself correctly. Ended up keeping the heads without the overspray on them.

I have the original release. Any tips on how to prevent shoulder breakages?
