Just wanted to check in and see how things are going with this storm/hurricane coming up through south Georgia. I'm just outside of Rome and it has rained all day and so far all night here. I can't imagine what it is like in south Georgia but it has to be pretty bad. Hope everyone is doing ok down south and hopefully this mess will be gone pretty soon. So far wind and rain is what we are getting here and looks like we got several more hours to go before it let's up.

I’m up by Atlanta we lost power for a minute or less and a couple branches fell from a tree but nothing really happened.
I didn’t have to work yesterday or today because of it so there’s that benefit.
All those back up batteries I charged yesterday go unused I guess.

Well that's good, my daughter lives around Decatur and she came here incase it got bad. Glad to hear it wasn't bad there, it just dropped a ton of rain on us up here and a little wind but that's about it thank goodness

Southeast GA here. Appling County, were I'm at, got hit hard. Wasn't expecting it to be so bad. No power, trees down everywhere. Lost part of my roof among other damage. Had to drive 30 minutes to a Lowes to get a tarp. Will be putting that on soon. Right now I'm just grateful everyone is ok.

Glad yall are OK, hate that you did get some damage but at least that is repairable. I was watching it on radar yesterday evening and it looked like it had some rough weather in front of it. Was definitely something to pay attention to.
