Another mix of good music and butt rock just like the last soundtack. I'll still get it though. At least there is no Jewel and Tyrese duet on there. And sorry, Stan Bush. Maybe you can redo "The Touch" again with better luck for TF3.

Big what to the Cheap Trick theme song. Thats the last band I'd ever think of. I don't like that cover of "Just Got Paid" from Mastodon though. I prefer the ZZtop version.
Mastodon Still, I'm not into the gimmicky "pile o' mainstream rock artists" type soundtracks, I prefer when films rely solely on an original score
....Cheap Trick? Uh...wow. Still, a much better lineup than the first one. Nickelback should cause some nerd and music fan rage. I know a lot of people who *HATE* Nickelback, and will shit a brick when they hear of this....
Wow...that's fantastic to see Mastodon on there... I hope we get to hear them as Jetfire stomps some Decepticreeps! Some Lamb Of God or Chimaira would have been good... but what can you do?
Aw, no Julien-K? I thought they were returning as well... And where's "Transform" by Next of Kin? I thought that was on the soundtrack as well. Other than Nickelback, who IMO are hit-and-miss, I haven't really heard anything from the other new bands that I knew was them (I tend to just "like that song" as opposed to "like this song title by that particular artist"), so I can't really judge at this point.
Theory of a Deadman? Nickelback? NICKELBACK?! This is honestly one of the most shameful bits of news in the franchise's history. I don't care how hyperbolic that is either. And really, that's nothing compared to the hyperbole of claiming Nickelback makes good music. Thank the gods the score has its own CD. Dx
