WTF?? Why do they have to sound so happy about whats happening xDD It´s like there singing about a ongoing threat and a devastating war...and they love it.
What I really dont like about the Theme Songs for the movies is that there just recycle the Old lyrics. They should just make new onse up that better fit into the Movie Universe.

I think this is what my main gripe is with this version. It just dosen't sound aggressive enough. It seems like it was remixed while everyone was high on something. And I do agree, a new theme song would've been better for the movie series. I definitely would have prefered the original theme song left as sort of a slow orchestral/intrumental sond that could've been worked into the score. Sort of like the fan made one that came out before the original movie was released.
Meh, I'm comfortable in my own taste in music (Dream Theater, Rush and Iron Maiden being my favorite bands) to say that I can enjoy this song for what it is, and I enjoy it more every time i hear it. As far as the lighter tone in the song. It's more than certainly a Credits song, and I see it more as a celebration of the Transformers in theme while nodding their head to the original song from 1986. I love it.
