    Hi,

I'm fairly new to collecting transformers and I'm confused with all those cheap e-bay sellers from China. The other day I came across a seller who was selling an original MP Ultra Magnus for 54 euros and several other MPs at around the same price:inquisiti  Does anyone have any idea what's going on with them??

They're fake/knock offs. That's what "KO" stands for. Most of the G1 stuff is reasonably good quality, but as always, its best to read reviews before buying any KOs. Magnus, for example, is available as a KO for $50-$60, but last years reissue can still be had for $70ish.

I didn't think there was a KO of Masterpiece Magnus - just the G1 version.

He said MP Magnus, I doubt the new Masterpiece has been knocked off yet.

To my knowledge, G1 Ultra Magnus has never been KO'd, only legitimately reissued by Hasbro. And also to my knowledge, MP Ultra Magnus has not been KO'd either...yet.

But yeah, you should ALWAYS be wary of Chinese eBay sellers selling G1 or MP stuff. That doesn't mean you shouldn't buy from them, just be wary about what they're selling. And better yet, educate yourself about KOs. I just relatively started collecting myself, but I've learned a great deal in a very short time about how to spot KOs.

The "if it sounds too good to be true..." saying rings very true here. Stay away, you're just gonna waste your time.

You're right.. MP22 has not been knocked off, but the White MP10 for ultra magnus has been knocked off, and the colouring on him is a little different to the original... but still looks good none the less!

Yeah, I was referring to the newer MP-22 UM. However, a white MP-10 would be a KO no matter what because HasTak has never made a white MP-10. Maybe you meant MP-2?

I know who you are referring to as I purchased an MP-11 SW from one of those sellers....unfortunately I don't think I will be receiving that. Ebay sent me an email stating that the sellers listing was removed and that I should contact them if I don't receive the item. As of now the seller is no longer a registered seller so there's no point in contacting him. For this reason I decided to use paypal, so I should be able to get my money back :)
