Again, you seem to misunderstand what it is that I've done and you presume to speak for others, which is not relevant to this conversation. Also, I've taken the time to read the OP's post and they actually asked us what we thought. I gave them that. The OP also replied to my post, so there isn't any need for you to be involved, is there? As for my authority to give criticism regarding the English language, I think my time studying how to teach it and experience teaching it gives me exactly that.

Again, I'm sorry you are confused by my posts. I really wish you could understand, but it appears to me that you cannot. I wish you the best with your endeavours.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing @dragonflye18 . I've been trying to figure out casting myself lately with some of my 3rd Party junkion parts using the following quick kit from hobby lobby...

...And I've had mixed results. At around $20 after tax and a 40% off coupon...its a more expensive than I would like for doing trial and error tests. Not sure I love resin...but still getting the hang of trying to get an air free mold

So, I've been researching and trying to figure out what a cheaper option with play-dough might look like. I haven't tried Epoxy yet.

Thanks for the pics, and the step by step pics. I'll have to give this a shot.

There is nothing 'mean' about it because this is an either/or situation-- you either understand what is being said or you don't.

Remember, this whole argument started because someone didn't understand what someone else was saying. If you think that is unreasonable that's your prerogative, but that also doesn't give you the right to insult people over it.

Not had chance to clean it yet, it’s a springer face which I’m going to use on a titan master

    Update: not looking too shabby

Primal... Couldn't you take this into a DM instead? If you're a teacher, do you call out your students errors to the whole class?

I understand what you're trying to do in regards to helping someone, and I appreciate the helpful mindset.

I don't appreciate it when it detracts from what this particular portion of the forum should be focusing on, especially since it could be done in a more tactful way.

@dragonflye18 I've been tracking your career here on radicon and just wanted to say; great job man! I've been looking at methods where a dixie cup and liquid plastic could be used, but it usually gets destroyed after one casting.

This is very elegant without having to Shell out cash Everytime

Thanks for the message. I haven't posted here since that last message so as to not derail the thread (check date) but since you've opened it again (ironically) :

    - error correction can be done individually, or in front of the class (and there are pros and cons for both). I don't think in this case, it's untoward to make it public.

If you're interested, here's some info about error correction (sadly, it doesn't address public/private correction or instant/delayed correction) : - Classroom management: The role of correction in English teaching

    - Surely, YOUR advice or correction of my methods should have been via PM, if that was your point?

I use Tamiya Black X-1 paint. It's glossy, but dries to a beautiful finish, without showing almost any paintbrush strokes.

Titan master face update for anyone interested, I’ve been told to try plasticine, so I’ll let you know how that goes.

If you’re going to do this way, I’d suggest using a piece of glass to seal off your first side pour.

Nice job, there! I have seen people also use hot melt glue sticks (which seems similar to Blue Stuff) in a similar way. I have used hot melt glue sticks to make a casting of my teeth...lol. I just put a couple sticks into some hot water to soften them and then pressed the stuff around my teeth like an athletic mouth guard. It totally works. And, glue sticks are dirt cheap, readily available and reusable...you may even be able to reuse the molds.
