Just wondered out of the five figures included (Quickswitch, Optimus Prime, Nautica, Fastlane & Rodimus Prime) in the box set. Which will you be keeping? Which will you be selling? What's the one figure that is the sole reason you are purchasing/passing on the set? How do you feel overall about the set being exclusive to Toys"R"Us - Transformers Wiki ? How do you feel about the inbetween size class for the Clones? Could you see other characters fit in at this size class?

This set ended up being far more conflicting for me than the Seige set. I'm not crazy about Quickswitch just being a recolor, Optimus looks decent, but knowing I may end up with 4 versions of the mold by the time everything is said and done leaves me less inclined to go for it. Nautica is cool, but I'm still a few years behind in the comics.

And the closest I've ever come to a toyline hurting my feelings is when Rodimus Prime ends up being just a literal head swap for Hot Rod.

 

I know for sure I want Quickswitch, Nautica, and Fastlane from the set. Dont really have a use for TM Rodimus Prime unless they color match the red to TR Hot Rod. TR Laser Optimus Prime is probably the one I would care least about. The mold doesn't really thrill me as Optimus Prime and on this one the bright blue is not helping.

 

Nautica is probably my least wanted from this set, though they will all be kept. Have no ties to the character. Fastlane is fantastic, and Quickswitch (while somewhat lazy) adds some beef to the Autobot army. I like the colors on the Optimus (though Octane is by far the best incarnation of the mold for me), and the head is a throw-in.

 

I'm keeping all but Quickswitch. Going to be an expensive set to keep. =\

 

I think it would be easier for me to just buy the Optimus and Rodimus. I could not care less for the rest.

 

I'm keeping the entire set but most looking forward to Nautica and Fastlane out of them all.

 

Honestly, none of them except maybe Fastlane.

 

Prime would be the only figure of interest in the set, because those are the colors that figure should have had in the first place! Not sure I'm going to pick up the set just for him, though.

 

Same broad opinions as the previous thread, but on the characters:
LOVE: Rodimus head (it appears color-matched to TR Hot Rod, but I can't be sure - big fan if so, move it down a level if not), G2 Optimus, Fastlane
Fine with: Nautica
Meh: Quickswitch - I have the FP one, so this is a bit extraneous. Would have personally preferred Sixknight or Greatshot, but totally get why Hasbro choose QS. Will probably sell him, trade him, or find a way to swap MADLAW for X6

 

The only figure I want from the Velocitron set is Fastlane.

If anyone who is planning on buying this set doesn't want theirs, please message me.

 

Unfortunately, I'm probably going to end up keeping this entire set. I don't have the Optimus mold yet, so I might as well keep that one (since it'll probably be the least desirable out of all them). At that point, what's the point of selling Rodimus?

 

I feel better about getting this set knowing how many people want the figures I was going to sell from it.
I've been holding off on getting voyager Optimus waiting for a repaint like this, so I'm keeping him, and I guess I'm keeping Nautica because apparently I'm a sucker for that mold.
Couldn't care less about Quickswitch and Rodimus, and I thought Fastlane was actually a G1 figure when I first saw the pictures. (EDIT: And he still has the spoiler on a pole sticking out of the back of his head. Easily the worst update in this line. And some of them are only updated as HEADS.)

 

I was a bit iffy on Quickswitch, but after seeing the helmet in the renders, I think he is alright. G2 Prime is pretty cool, especially the tanker, but I don't think I would like him when Octane is so much better in every way. Nautica is neat, but I've already got Blurr and Brainstorm. Fastlane is a definite; love the clones. Disappointing that Rodimus Prime isn't a full figure, but I like Titanmasters.

 

The only ones I don't plan on keeping are Optimus Prime and Rodimus. It's pretty much the same thing for the other set (not planning on keeping OP or Thunderwing from that set)

 

I know you can select multiple choices, but there needs to be an "All of Them" option. Otherwise you won't be able to tell if people are just going to keep the whole set, like me.

What are the chances someone can Photoshop this rodimus prime head onto the hotrod body?

 

All of them.  

 

Nautica and Laser Prime. That plus it being a TRU exclusive and my local TRU apparently having some major objection to stocking transformers means I'm probably going to pass. Not worth paying online markup prices when I don't want 3/5 of the set.
