so with every episode i watch i always wonder, whats the chances of the fans getting other masterpiece pieces from other lines, in this case i mean the transformers prime line. . . i think it would be freaking awesome and since i know yous guys been collecting a lot longer then i have and also may know of more future projects takara may have in plans for the future

i'm guessing that making a PRIME line of masterpieces would be easy since they already have the hard part done which would be the 3D models of each character

Other than maybe Takara doing some "Masterpiece" repaints of the Weaponizer figures, like they did for certain Movie Leader figures, I can't see them doing any. Would be interesting, but I would put this in the "not going to happen" category. I could see them doing some Human Alliance style figures before new mold Prime Masterpieces.

Not...really. Those 3D models wouldn't really translate into toy-form...at all.

Takara might get to the TF Prime characters 20-25 years from now but, as far as it happening anytime soon....not going to happen my friend.

There is, it's called FE... that will be the closest you'll get for at least 30 years..

Although two(arguably three) of those are inferior to thier later versions.

Pretty much this. I only have Bulkhead and Starscream, but they are seriously high-quality figures. Deluxe Wheeljack is pretty much perfect, too.

    Arcee and Starscream.

    Starscream being the arguable one.

Wouldn't they have, oh, nearly 30 years of franchise to hit first? We have no guarantee that TFP will have any sort of staying power after it sees its last episode. Hell, look at TFA. It's second only to BW as the sacred cow of all things TF. There are no MP TFA figs. Come to think of it, there are no MP BW figs either. You'd think that they'd at least hit something like that before they start MPing shit that's still available on the shelves. MP is a nostalgia line for adult collectors, I don't see a market for TFP stuff yet.

The 3D models from the show would be completely useless unless they wanted to make statues from them.

I assume he's meaning Arcee, and the third maybe being SS.

The only one that came out better, IMO, is the vehicon.

Oh and for the OP's question: never.

    edit:

    Ha! Nailed it. :D

damn really FE show great difference to the deluxe? i mean they deluxe and FE and voyageurs look okay but nothing to go crazy about, i know the masterpieces have been awesome and i never got into them till this soundwave release and at this point i will drop whatever i have to to own any of the masterpieces i like because the amount of details and all that, that goes into the figures is awesome.

If they were to come out with an MP Rattrap or MP Rhinox, I'd be all over them.. like 2 of each..at least..

Let's face it, with the Masterpiece line, you will never get to anything else. Ever since the first MP line, we've had what? 5 standard figures (Prime Mold, Megatron Mold, Seeker Mold, Grimlock mold, Hot Rod/Rodimus mold)? And now we're simply redoing them again. In another few years, they'll probably just reboot the line and do Optimus and Starscream AGAIN. The fact that we've gotten some of the last couple MP molds is astounding.

I wouldn't hold your breath for anything MP related outside of the G1 line.

While I'd love a TFP MP Wheeljack, like others have said, I don't see it happening until 30 years have passed. We'll be seeing TFP masterpieces after they get through BW, RID, A/E/C, and Animated MPs lol.
