I would love to get a hold of this pack. Also, anyone else notice Galvatron is trying to wave? They didn't transform his arm properly.
I don't believe it was ever stated to be exclusive to the convention in question. Just that it would be released there. There was a report a while back that this 3-pack would be a U.S. store exclusive. I believe this is further evidence of that.
Masterpiece Grimlock and the Seacons are technically Generations as they share that packaging, and I would not be surprised if the Legends we saw at Botcon were Generations as well.
Very not bad. There's still a chance that this could be an Asian market exclusive even with the English packaging. The Classics Jetfire/Grimlock and Prime/Magnus 2-packs never made it to American shores.
There is a history that Hasbro Asia, released Asia only gift packs. The Prime/Magnus Classics 2-pack is an example. As much as I want this to be released in the US. I won't keep my expectations to high. **EDIT** What shibamura_prime said...
The Hasbro Asia two-packs had unique packaging and... that was it, really. Prime/Magnus and Jetfire/Grimlock didn't have unique color schemes or production runs years apart from original release (Rodimus). I'm hesitant to believe that this set won't come out in the US at all, but recognize the small chance that it could be the case after all.
If people remember correctly the Universe Special edition, Drag Strip, Prime, Megatron and overkill all were at one point supposed to be asian exclusives. There is still a chance this will make it as either a Target/walmart/TRU or HTS exclusive for North America.
I'd like this to come out at US retail, but until we get confirmation of it, I'll keep my BBTS Pre-order.
