As I've been saying, the Cybertron designs were designed in a a super short amount of time. According to the artist, some of these were only designed with one draft, and not a lot of time to experiment. Furthermore, they were designed to be seen for a matter of seconds. Obviously they're going to look worse than the designs they had longer to work with, it's almost not fair to compare them. If/when they pop up in a future movie, I guarantee they'll give them revised designs.
I've come to notice that robot mode Bee lacks any of the VW symbols. I thought it was just the higher end toys, but even the model in the movie lacks the badges.
I feel the same about Ironhide but I always assumed Ravage was a jaguar lol.Maybe it has to do with his Alternators figure
I know. I'm saying that the model looks so little like a cat and more like a dog that I forgot Ravage was even in the movie.
Saying you forgot Ravage in the movie as a joke is strange as a casual fan of the series that knew and saw the G1 robot designs would know that was Ravage just by looking at him and he legit said "Ravage, eject.'
Hearing that they basically had to slap together what they could from the same few models or something gives me a little mercy, but yeah, that’s pretty shitty. But of course, “omgggg I finally got my G1 Transformers like I should’ve all alooooooong”. Give me lovable cowhead Jess Harnell Ironhide anyday.
His face does look terrible and definitely needs a major overhaul, but the rest of the body looks alright to me, I like how rounded and strong he looks.
Wish i can see all early animations from 1-3 movies I also seen somewhere the early animation screens when "yellow rampage" Skipjack was Fighting with Bumblebee
