Been a long while since a decent Transformers video game has graced us…

 

Do you know how to Rise?

 

The fact that it was named “Transformers: Online” at one point bothers me. I want a good, story based console game with decent gameplay. Not some online Fortnite multiplayer based bullshit thats just designed to sell micro transactions. Or worse, something like the SE Avengers game…



I want to believe, but I’m holding my breath for now.

 

I hope this game turns out well.

Every second movie or game is "The Rise of Gru" or "Rise of the Beasts" or "Rise of Skywalker" - it's ridiculous.

And these guys can't even be bothered to make it something in particular, just......generally rising? Push 'A' to Rise? Is that how this works?

 

More like Transformers: Vaporware

I would agree with this, but Avengers was good. Story should take priority over MP, but an optional online mode would be fine. Just so long as it’s not the only game mode.

 

Hey siveroptimus I think this thread belongs in the video game section for us waiting about news and I'm sure the members in that thread would be happy.

Man, I was joking when I said Rise of the Dark Spark sequel...

 

We're talking about the new one, right? The same game where the main character won a fan fiction contest, right?

Maybe I just have a low tolerance for terrible plots, insufferable main characters, and meandering gameplay.

 

The one that no one is playing and was repetitive gameplay with only a few variations in enemies and was the same button mashing for every single character and had gear that changed nothing visually and wanted you to pay cash for digital skins? Yeah…. NO.

 

We need to ban the use of "Rise" in titles for the next few centuries.
