It's my very first repaint that I've been working on all day since around 8. I don't really have a name for it... I wasn't really trying to repaint it as a specific character. I love CD Hotshot's mold, but I hate his colors with a passion, so, I changed it. The red is actually more like a blood-red, and his eyes are in that color but are hard to see. He's not completely finished, he's still got some blue edges showing.
Now that I think of it, it does look kinda satanic. Guess that works since I ordered some decepticon faction stickers to put on him. My next project that I already started is just a plastic car model, but with the same apps as the decepticon police car being used in the TF movie. Does anyone know where I can get accessories such as police car lights & that pushbar thing?
you shold do this again, but with dyes, then there would be no blue plastic left, and the reds can be dyed a deeper red as well, and you'll nver have scratches and it would be a much sharper details. looks awsome. i may try this as a dye job.
I agree (about the dye). But to dissasemble a figure for his repaint would be a little harder. And some takes take longer than others, as well as what you need to know when comes to mixing/dyeng black over blue and making other colors darker. For your First dye project I would start with something a little smaller and easier to disassemble/reassemble.
