I got my Cybertron Defense Hot Shot today, and I checked it against a GF Exigeyser, and they are absolutely identical, except for one glarring issue. The bar that connects the weapon turret to the vehicle has an inset on one side so that in Alt mode it sits flush on top. My Cyb release has that bar reversed, so it can't sit flush. So, I either need to get a pin knocker and reattach the bar, or I need to file a bit off of the underside of the hip section.
I really don't understand how these things happen. they obviously design them one way in japan, and I'm sure they're looked over before they go into production. how do things change going to the US release? is some monkey sitting there saying "duh, okee, looks like toy unnga bunga, lets make one?"
Hmm... thanfully don't have that problem with mine! My Downshift I got at the same time oth has a nice paint chip on the center of his forhead... the silver color was easily findable and fixable though!
Quick!!! Someone start another Takara>Hasbro thread!!! And after that happens, someone start a Hasbro>Takara thread!!!
Mine's fine. Of course, my turret doesn't sit EXACTLY flush on top, tolerances being what they are, but the bar placement is correct. -XCN-
Mine came missing one of the front bumper machine guns. This quickly followed a Cyb Galvatron with a broken wing (one of the little ones on the side of the nose cone). I don't know if this is a fluke or a sign of other things, because I have never had such problems from Hasbro products before.
I don't know. Probably the same way GF Buzzsaw's got his minicon gear reversed but Cybertron's is just fine.
Bring on the smiley of DOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM! Seriously though... were is that smiley, because I can't find it in our list. Or is it something that someone created on their own?
