Maybe they can squeeze a Gurren Lagann reissue with that month delay. CCS does have a different way of doing preorders and releases which seem to be a fast turnaround.

It looks so damn good. I had to wait 15 years for a proper Lazengann but it sure looks like it'll be worth the wait.

Edit: And I gave Showz 2 dollars. It really needs GL to go with it and I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

I gave in and ordered CCS Shin Getter since it was on sale and I figure I'm building a small CCS army (already have Mazinger and pre-ordered GL and Lazengann). I'll be able to compare it with the ThreeZero Shin Getter I have and most likely sell the one that doesn't fit in. I like the slim profile of ThreeZero's version, but the CCS Shin Getter has much better gimmicks and a more intimidating presence.

 

I absolutely love mine. It's big and beefy.

 

Looks like Lazengann is in stock or incoming. ShowZ just requested payment and shows availability as in stock.

 

Received my CCS Shin Getter, and I posted some thoughts in the Metal Build thread, but I absolutely love it! I think it's a major improvement over their previous release of Mazinger Zero... which is saying a lot since I really liked their Mazinger as well. I still think the sticker shock of the increased price was jarring, but it's worth it at its sale price at ShowZ now.

 

Wonder if this is basically what the Showz listing is for. Whatever the case, as long as Gurren is coming (again) I'll be happy.

 

Part of me feels this is too soon.

 

My wallet will probably agree with you. My need to have them both on a shelf together wishes it was sooner lol.

 

I'm talking more on having a 2.0 version when the first one is still good enough.

 

We don't have full information but it seems like more of an improved 1.0 or a 1.5 type of deal than a true 2.0. This is all based on ShowZs explanation so I have no idea of accuracy.

 

I'm looking at showz's page for it. Is the grey prototype that of the original release or is that for the "new" release? There are differences in some areas like the cod piece design, design from the knees down, head seems smaller, sunglasses on the chest seem to be slightly bigger.

Maybe somebody can do that image editing to lighten that teaser image above to see if it reveals anything?
