Exactly. The face was stuck from either glue or paint drying it to the metal helmet.

When I had my copy (I sold it lol,) I was able to get the face out using a nylon spudger stuck behind the face, under the chin, and very carefully wiggling it. I'd then alternate with sticking the spudger under the nose bridge of the helmet over and over again until I broke it free of whatever was holding it down. Might be worth a shot if you can't get the replacement parts.

I've done something very similar, but I will give it another go.

I got my GL on Saturday from otakumode.com and it seems my issues are similar to others, with mine actually missing the stock face! The plastic left shoulder piece was also broken. Otakumode.com suggested the [email protected] email. I sent them a picture of the head missing the face and a video of the arm falling out of the socket. Hope they respond and that otakumode.com is one of the companies mile-stone services. Fingers crossed. 20211017_134823.jpg

Was finally able to get my replacement head for the Gurren Lagann from milestone. Took a while on their end to get a new supply, but that’s totally understandable. They were real nice and helpful throughout the process.

So it seems they support the products even if you bought it through a proxy service, or I just got real lucky haha

I too got my replacement head and shoulder part. It took a while and they were responsive in their emails.
The only negative was that they said they would provide a shipping number once the package was sent out and instead it just showed up one day after a few weeks. Luckily the porch pirates in my neighborhood didn't get it first. A minor inconvenience at most and I'm super thrilled that my Gurren Lagann is complete and that was because of mile-stone's outstanding customer service!

So I was able to get another figure from a different retailer and still had the same issue with the face plate. And of course the mile-stone company says they weren't the distributor for the store I bought it from so I'm back where I started.

I tried spudgers, razor blades, wd40, goo gone, boiling water. No freaking luck. Guess I'll just live with the default fave.

For what it's worth, I like that light up fireball effect (whatever that is).

Hmmm. Chest is too small and it just doesn’t work. Sentinel did it better.

Hmmm this is not quite the knockout I was expecting, but things I like would be the stoner sunshine effect part, the thicc chunky legs, including the scythe and the long axe. The wings are interesting and almost look like soft goods, possibly a little organic for me. Now Bandai has to reveal their metal build Shin Getter and then we can get a real good comparison.

    That looks phenomenal to me.

I still have the 3zero one in my POL and I have the SRC, guess I’m gonna end up with a collection of shins. Guess there’s no harm in having a giant collection of getters with tons of the same robot by different companies.

The last picture very clearly shows pre-posed hands.
