    "Hi!

Do you have photos of your rooms as whole? Are these confined to one room, or throughout the house?"

"If I spread them out, can I be on the show?"

I nominate Vangelus to troll this TV show. It would be full of kaboomery and whatnot.

I'm with optimist on this one. transfan2 would be excellent for this. He has a very extensive collection of toys from what I gather. They're always watching TV with him.

Thanks! You have a very nice setup too! I would pass on the show. Maybe put all my toys in one of my friends apartment instead.

I remember that guy. Now he is nowhere to be found.

Transfan2 is a nice guy. He doesn't deserve to be portrayed the way they will make him look in this...

All that blasting the camera might get the show rated TV-MA though.

Hey Jess (can I call you Jess? Yes? Awesome) if you're looking to do a piece on people who take fandom far too seriously then maybe you should do one on the shitstorm that is this year's Hall of Fame vote. I for one would lol mightily to see an internet argument spew out onto television.

...not to mention that the cost of the production would skyrocket.
"DAMMIT! Galvatron destroyed another one of our cameras! We can't afford to keep this up!" :lolol

But seriously, this Jessica person sure gets around. Run a Google search on her name in quotation marks with the word "sharp" or "sharp entertainment" and see what you get. In addition to the aforementioned effort to get "preppers" to do this sort of thing, she has also harassed people who collect clowns, bladesmiths/blacksmiths, and women looking to move to NYC. She rarely posts more than once - almost never responds to comments.

Must be nice to get paid to troll the Internet looking for people to exploit for ratings.

Well it looks like this show is finally in production, the first episode aired tonight. It showcased a woman who collects shoes, a teenager who collects vacuum cleaners, a woman who collects dolls and two men who collect Dolly Parton memorabilia. And the once common thread between them all?

Their collection was in every room of their respective houses. Just as requested by Jessica Sharp. Honestly the vacuum cleaner guy was the best one, seemed like a very sharp and normal kid. And the Dolly Parton guys weren't too bad either. The two women though...

Here is the link for the schedule. Doesn't look like there are any more episodes slated yet but if there ever are I will definitely be checking them out.

On a related note fellow board member and a good buddy of mine Flywheels is slated to have his collection showcased on local Carolina TV sometime in the next few months! Hopefully that will be a much more positive experience!

I just watched the show. The guy with the vacuum cleaners and the Dolly Parton fans seemed like pretty nice, relatively normal people. The women came off pretty weird, though.

I think Transformers can go well. It has a huge nostalgia factor and since it's a continuous franchise, it's not too hard to accept somebody dedicated to it. It doesn't have that creepy factor like the realistic dolls either, but I guess it all comes down to the person. I think what helped those Dolly guys was how dedicated they were, you can tell that they really love Dolly. It doesn't feel like "yes I will spend all my money on dolly's sweatrag" like the shoe woman, so it doesn't come across as creepy as you'd think it would.

I know this is a pretty old thread and they probably found someone already, but I think Protoman would be good on this show.
