I was reading the Frank Welker thread here in GD when the subject of Casey Casem came up. More specifically, why he left Transformers altogether. That got me thinking about something. Here's the post that caught my attention http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showpost1227020-p26.html Suppose Casey Casem, 20 years later, is still steamed about the whole "Carbombia" thing back in G1. If we would want to make peace with him, and would want him to even consider trying out for a part in the new TF Movie, what if we as a fandom were to apologize. Now I know that it wasn't our fault, and that we were still eating Happy Meals back when this all happened, but still, If Casey saw that there was not only a strong fandom out there for this series and all it's incarnations, but that we all hated it too, that he might by some chance accept the apology? I figure that it's worth a shot. Or here's another approach. What if we as a fandom, were to approach Hasbro/Sunbow, Whoever about the whole thing, and request a formal apology, that maybe that would do the trick? I know that this whole thing is really pretty silly, and I for one want Casey to be in the new movie (Teletraan 1 wouldn't be the same without him.). What do you guys think?
