Edit (1/9/11): okay, I've given this an extra few days, I've not heard anything from DSH, even though I messaged him on every board I know he frequents. Nothing. I can't hold this model back any longer (according to the poll, 19 people actually want this, and total 37 want it released out of 42). So, after i worked on the Dark and Light Minions (see my sig), i went on to another Soundwave. After talking to Drawn-Steel Hero, with his aid i designed the Cartridge Robots, starting with Cartridge Robot FR. My test print arrived today, and even though DSH said it would take a good 3 or 4 prints, i'm glad to report the first print works completely. All the joints work, the transformation works, and he fits into the Cybertron Soundwave/Universe Blaster mold with no trouble. In robot mode, he has two built-in pulse blasters, which store on his shoulders for storage or clip onto his arm for battle. They also double as piledrivers. I messaged DSH a while ago to see if he would mind me releasing this guy, since he put a lot of work into his designs which ultimately inspired me to make Cartridge Robot FR. Since then, i've gotten nothing from him, so i'm going to do this the simple way. There's a poll at the top. If you want it released, vote Yes. If you don't, vote No. I give it one day, and if there's more Yes at the end, he'll be released to the public. *My Cybertron Soundwave is currently stowed away, so Universe Blaster will have to do. *You can see the blue in Blaster's chest, that's Cartridge Robot FR Blue Mode in there.
When I saw the thumbnail I thought "what the heck is this!?" so, of course, I inmediately came to see your work. This is amazing!! working minions for the Cybertron Soundwave mold!!! They are incredible, great work, keep it up!

Thanks Sanchimaru. Yes, he does look a bit strange in the thumbnail. Thanks! I can't wait to try my hand at some more minions for Cybertron Soundwave. The engineering i have to share some credit with Ramrider, since his Hexpods and my Cartridge Robots do have quite a lot in common. Certainly. It would be very evil of me if it didn't. The data cartridge is actually slightly smallerthan Blockrock, so it fits in with no problems, and the door latch and cyber key still work perfectly. Thanks bro. Let's hope the poll turns out a yes. Do stay tuned, because as soon as the poll closes, if there's enough Yes votes then you'll be able to get your own Cartridge Robot FR.
Just sayin, you might want to get the go ahead from DSH before you continue. It sounds like he didn't exactly give you the rights to distribute toys based off of his works. Have some patience. I mean, c'mon, just one day?
Okay, I do understand your point TGping, but I messaged him on multiple boards, he did give me his support when we first discussed it, and photos of his designs are available publicly so the design's not a secret in any way. I've also given credit where credit's due, I've not hidden that fact at all. Also, I've given a few more days, and still nothing. I've decided that since people do want this (the poll says 37/42 voted yes), and I've made every effort to contact him to no avail, I cannot hold this back any longer.
