Looks to be a Doctor Strange/Ant-Man level MCU movie. So basically, a standard enjoyable Marvel movie.
This morning it was at 91%, then dropped to 86. Just know I gave it another check and it stands at 84% with 112 critic reviews Captain Marvel (2019) But these are Critic scores, NOT Audience Scores. They won't open those until Friday and with all that stupid drama of last week with the Audience Scores on RT, Capt.Marvel is starting to show mix reviews among critic, with the critic score at Rotten Tomatoes dropping, that is a the sign of a possible okay Average, and you do not want to have an okay average in between Infinity and End Game.
Hmm, I’ve seen a few people mention this. So maybe yeah, timing was a factor here. But I guess it would’ve been tricky trying to find a place to put her, as she got no prior setup except for Infinity War. X-Men need a breather. F4(and Doctor Doom) must come first. They need it more.
On RT, there's a fair amount of women who gave their reviews on it: Captain Marvel (2019) There's also some who wrote reviews on metacritic. *shrugs*
Not sure if it's been posted (or if I should) but... Some HUGE spoiler screenshots have started showing up. Spoiler: SPOILERS (CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK) https://i.redd.it/nddfivjxadk21.png
Okay, a deeper look must be given to even the Positive Reviews on RT - Some of the Positive Reviews themselves have a Negative opinion of the Movie (WTH?) and it dropped at 83%. I want to remind people these are Critic Scores, not Audience Scores Captain Marvel (2019)
Maybe I'm blind as hell, but I'm not seeing what's particularly spoiler-y about this pic, aside from it being something we haven't seen yet. What am I missing here?
One important caveat: these are Critic Scores, not Audience Scores. With the Drama of last week on RT they won't open those until Friday.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. On RT, I've read some of the reviews and while they gave them a "tomato" instead of that green "splat", the verbiage of the review doesn't really reflect what was given. I noticed the same thing happening on the Ghostbusters 2016 reviews too. Oh well. Who knows what they were thinking.
A "fresh" review is 6/10. They actually have to be pretty bad reviews to get a "rotten" score, as even having a few complaints about the movie isn't likely to change your opinion to be negative enough to warrant it.
The ones I'm talking about were Crit scores too. They would say something bad, but give it a good score.
Yeah I'm still seeing it regardless. Hell I paid for the fan even ticket, might as well go. But what has me confused was even brought up in that YouTube video. 2.5/4 is just over 60% (or the 6/10 like you said), but one of them was a fresh rating (tomato), the other one with the same 2.5/4 was the rotten rating (splat)....why the difference? Am I missing something?
Whua? Any where else a 6 is low. A mean 10 is perfect, 9 is Great, 8 is Good, 7 is Average. Correct me, please. Man, now I see why people have gripes with the Rotten Tomatoes score as a whole.
