This superhero is a homage of both Captain America and Iron Man. I drew this to remember the people of loss their lives on 9/11. As well is for the firefighters, EMTS, police officers, and others who risk their lives to save others. So please enjoy. Let me know what you guys/gals think? Thank you.

    Nice work, dude.

I really like the helmet design. Also, I like the double shield gauntlets. I'm guessing they launch and return?

I kinda like how the original looks from the waist up, and the new one from the waist down. The new one is cool don't get me wrong, but I love the chest design and arms on the original. The assymetrical design is nicely representative of the flag his costume is based upon.

Thanks, the helmet I wanted to be kinda Iron Man-esque, but with some Transformers in it as well. His shield gauntlets can launch and return like Cap. America's sheild, but also that I can punch some bad guy in the face without the shield getting there first, if that makes sense. But thanks for the comment.

Wow you could probably photoshop it if you want to make it look cool to you since well like you said earlier. I'm glad that you liked the old one since I tried to make it almost like Cap America, but not too overboard. So thanks for that I appreicated it.

He looks cool. Perhaps you could combine some design elements from them both?

I like too, but once an idea comes to redoing a drawing that I've done its hard to come up with a third variation. So sorry, but I take it into consideration and thanks.

    I like V2 :)

I also figured out why I like this guy so well: he reminds me of Superpatriot :)

Thanks. Well I liked how I did it makes him unique. If they need a good substitute for Captain America, Freedom would make a good choice, but its whatever.

Because v1 is like Iron Man and v2 looks like a combination of Capt. America and SuperPatriot. And Thanks to both for your complients. I do appreicate it.

    Very nice!

I like the blending, the elements work well together, and it does evoke a SuperPatriot vibe.

Maybe you could design two villains and call them Terror and Tyrant. Make them something like evil twins or, for a more comedic bent, like Team Rocket of Pokemon fame.

Thanks. It does have that SuperPatriot vibe without going too far. I like the twin idea Terror and Tyrant, I might take that into consideration, I do have a villain that Capt. Freedom and the Bulk have and that's Zobo, the Dark Clown. He's my twisted version of the Joker, more of the combination of Insane Clown Posse with the Joker to be more precise.

The Joker is actually one of my favorite villains. Mostly because I think clowns are evil by default, so with him it's truth in advertising.

Are you leaning towards the traditional clown costume style, or more of a business suit gone awry (like the Joker)?

Sweet, I didn't know that. Well he'll be more of both, a business suit but more wild and insane. So I'll start drawing him when I get the chance. I'll keep us updated.

I think you did a great job on these, bro. I really dig each of them. I do like certain things from each version, but I'd have to say my favorite has to be the top one (version 1--New Captain Freedom).

The costumes are obviously inspired by different comic characters, but you've managed to do something completely unique with them and make them your own. I also really like the fact that you drew this out of respect for our fallen friends. Keep up the great work, man. You've done great with these, can't wait to see what else you do. Quick question, do you plan on having Tony or someone do a custom action figure of this one also? (if so, I think it will look pretty sweet).
