NO. just let the new SSB come out so we can have a four way company battle and then do whatever.

Plus Resident Evil, Capcom's Backlog of classic NES and SNES Disney Games along with the rights to other great series like Viewtiful Joe (Just in time for SSB 5.) and I can't even recall the rest of Capcom's impressive library of IPs.

I don't know if Nintendo is in the position financially to successfully pull off such a purchase, however it would be interesting to see them succeed and perhaps reignite the Mega Man franchise.

I hope this doesn't mess with the Megaman comic.

Hadn't thought of that, but I'm sure Archie's contract is iron clad, when the time to renew comes up, might cause issues.

Doesn't Nintendo seem a bit spread too thin to work on any of these IPs? Sure hope somebody does something with them though.

Maybe Platinum can get their Clover titles back.

I'd love to have Namco or WB buy Capcom. If Namco we can have more crossover between Street Fighter and Tekken. If WB then MK/Injustice crossing over with SF.

Maybe we won't need Mighty 9 after all.

As we say in Puerto Rico, "El aviso de una muerte anunciada!". The warning of a announced Death!

Capcom's Hubris has at last catch up to them.

It's sad cause part of my Childhood dies along with them, but they brought this on to themselves: Pray that Megaman's entry into SSB4 is the evidence they are negotiating with his rights and some with Nintendo, perfect for Mega, Breath of Fire and Darkstalkers. Don't mind is Sony or Nintendo get Street Fighter, but Sony gets the Zombie Games.

A preferable scenario, as long EA and Microsoft don't get these guys. I don't see them getting any, NOT after what happened to Bomberman, Banjo-Kazooie, and DK's original enemy King K. Rool.

Nintendo won't do it, not in a gazillion years and that's a safe bet.

    Watch Square snap em up.

Do we know what this would mean for the games on digital services like the Playstation Network and Virtual Console? Will they be taken down like Brave Story New Traveler when the company that made it went under? Or is that entirely dependant on who buys Capcom out?
