It's good that Bionic Commando (and hopefully the other Capcom games) won't be gimped on XBLA. Here's some more info: kotaku It's too bad Microsoft didn't go with a larger HDD to begin with, or at least didn't price the upgraded drives like they were made out of platinum. I am certain the drive's small size is the main reason behind their policy.
No, it's so the poors without a hardrive can play with the game stored on their ludicrously tiny memory cards.
Ya know, I actually wish CapCom let the PS3 have the superior releases for the PSN games atleast(which for a while, like it seemed it was only Sony supporting). Afterall the bull they gave the console with the inferior Lost Planet, and then only weeks later, after it's PS3 release, announce a new 360 and PC version, called Colonies, containing stuff the PS3 release doesn't have, for a cheaper price, than the PS3 release. What happened to having to be multi-platform and fair to stay compeitive in this market(they cited that as the reason DMC 4 went Multi, which is one of the few non botched CapCom PS3 Releases)? I still don't see Dead Rising on PS3, and kind of don't want to, as knowing CapCom, they'll botch it aswell. Thanks CapCom, I'll make sure to buy the new Megaman Starforce games(Dinosaur, and Ninja) right away[/sarcasm], after the travisty that was the original Starforces.
It's not like they had a better version of Bionic Commando for the PS3, but decided to pull the plug on it. They had a memory footprint constraint that would have gimped the 360 version. Microsoft just lifted the constraint. Honestly, they are remaking\enhancing a game I fondly remember playing, adding coop play so I can play with my son at home or friends online, including content that will be unlocked on the next Bionic Commando game and all for just $10. I can't complain at all.
Then we will have to chat while playing the game at the same time and pretend we are playing together.
Looking forward to these new Arcade Games. I bought the 120GB HD when it first released and it has made life with the 360 allot easier. It cost a bit more but it worth it in the long run.
There's a rumor that an American dev team is working on that. Of course, the current lawsuit over the first game may mean we don't get a Dead Rising 2.
Got a thread about it, what to hear it? Here it goes. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=168463&highlight=Dead+Rising
