Every time i eat something with canola oil in it i feel sick, my boggest issue is its in so many products these days. Does anyone else feel sick or effected by conala oil.
You may have a food allergy to it. I don't ever get sick from oils, just meat grease. Whatever you do, stay away from olive oil. It causes penile cancer.
Wouldnt it be better just to not cook with oil? I cant imagin adding fat to something would be good for you
I was feeling like crap on a consistent basis, only until I did some research and stopped using canola oils, margarine, and things like that did I start to feel better. Canola is highly acidic in the body, along with processed foods and meats. Olive oil and clarified butter are the only oils that have an alkalizing effect in the body. Ideally a 20% acidic/ 80% alkaline diet is what you want to strive for. Soy derivatives such as tofu and soy oils are high in estrogen which can mess with your hormonal balance. Now I have way more energy and I feel so much more mentally sharp. Good health is 80% diet.
You may need to get checked out; family member just found out he has a gluten allergy and its a bad one. Cannot have anything and I mean anything that originates from grain including corn. Corn oil, corn syrup wheat, oats, and you don't realize how much of that stuff is now in everyday life that we just take for granted.
You need to switch to lard. I couldn't get any vegetable oil at the store this morning so I grabbed a packet of lard instead. Smells just like my childhood meals.
Its preety new, didnt use it last night though i air baked chips that had been pre cooked in it didnt relise after tea to check the small print on the packageing I got sick like this last time i used it to cook mushrooms Which i have had cooked other oils no hassle lol
It could be a couple of things, allergy, oil could be old, expired, some people use it more than once. Sometimes, I feel sick when places like mcdonalds don't use fresh oil like with their french fries. Try using another brand, switch to vegetable oil, or as someone mentioned above olive oil.
my mom gets sick on Canola oil too. We don't use it to cook but the resturants we go to cooks with it so whenever we go there she gets a side salad instead of their fries. So if u are allergic to Canola oil, in general, make sure you know what your resturants (mainly fast food chains) use as cooking oil.
Well all brands of pataoe chips super market hot chips almost all things like fish fingers, pre made lesignas also alot of bakeing around here cakes, bread, scones, local fish n chip shop does as well I have been looking around most of today i think im going to lose alot of weight avoiding these foods I also think im gonna need to start makeing alot of things myself
verify first if you're actually allergic to the oil itself, or just THAT oil. Walker's crisps use canola oil, I think, see if they make you sick as well.
I think you're going to whip that cook book out before you know it. Who knows, with all that cooking experience you will have, you might impress that girlfriend of yours
