Teasing Volcanicus already before even a full render of Thunderking? CangToys is going Toyworld with their announcement there.

 

It'll be 2022 before we see anything though. At least they are forthcoming when so many companies arent

I'm really into this! Been waiting for a good Dino-combiner for some time! No one has done it justice. This style Cang is doing screams for epic Dinobots.

 

Well. Glad to have another excuse to put off getting Gigapower or G-Creation Shuraking.

Yeah it will give me the perfect excuse to finally get a team of Dinobots! If they are going to add a sixth member I hope it will be a Spinosaurus, much like Scorn from AOE.

 

I have shuraking, and their predaking turns out to be super solid (TW constructor level) im all in for their volcanicus and will sell my gcreation in a heart beat, that big boy barely even stands, let alone i cant pose it at all.

That is why im holding off on this set though, i wanna see the end result first / how sturdy it is. Im not droping another 600+ on a combiner that cant stand.

 

sounds great, but I certainly have some worries here. How are they going to make the limbs look good? One of the greatest problems in making dinobot combiners has always been that their beast shapes have been so lumpy, that they just look weird as limbs. Of course, if they go the zord route, no problem I assume. Also, paddles as crotch. We need paddles. We need paddles WE NEED PADDLES

I almost think swoop would be a better crotch, and have paddles + sludge as the legs. then snarl+slag as the arms.

yes paddles is the plesiosaur. Which is why i think him + sludge would make great legs, 2 very similar shapped beefy boys. I can see the merit in having the plesiosaur be a crotch simply because it adds a much better pants former, but i feel swoop looked silly as an arm in pretty much every version (potp, tw, gcreation etc).

 

Yup. Id love scorn to be a possibility as well, but I think paddles is better suited. Although, I'm liking adults idea now. Curious to see how this goes

 

I hope Swoop's wings stay with him in limb mode, I don't like Volcanicus to look like the Dinosaur version of Predaking. Or maybe the wings could help make the side hips skirts for Volcanicus, that will be different and could work aesthetically speaking.

 

The 6th member will be BW Megatron in dragon form, just like how Optimus Primal is to CT's Predacons.

We all know Megs & Prime are the ones that wear the pants around here.

 

Y'know, I passed on their predacons because I don't think they're G1 enough. But if Predaking turns out pretty stable I'd check out a Volcanicus from them.

 

Hold on is Cang Toys really doing an Optimus Primal figure for their Predacons lineup? If so are there any pics of him yet?!
