That's the Kotobukiya model. It's the MGS2 version, but they are doing an MGS4 (damaged) version reprint next. Also a Metal Gear Ray. 1/100 scale.

And.. yeah. I have.... quite a lot of stuff.

I'm trying to add somewhat unique pics to this discourse, so I decided to compare Kinglion to one of my Liger Zeros and my oldest HMM, Blade Liger AB Leon Ver. Getting the other Ligers would've required posing them, dusting them, etc... Sadly the closest Zoid model I've got, Energy Liger, is all packed away and I'm not getting him out.

@Black Convoy, here's another update for you..

Not sure if there's gonna be simultaneous releases, but by the looks of it, the next in line for Thundermini (Mini Thunderking) is Landmini (Mini Landbull). Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing! Very cool. You can really see the family resemblance, lol! All Kinglion needs to pass as a zoid here are the screw caps (not sure what those are officially called, lol!) stuck all up and down his sides.

For anyone that has Fermini... I know they're supposed to be legends scale but I'm wondering what size the weapon handles are.

I believe they're around 3mm, I've not actually measured though.

They seem ed to have fixed the tail crotch problem we saw earlier of him before the current update. If I didn't see that as a tail the first time I saw it, I would've thought it was something else. Talk about wrong time, wrong place. That was a very unfortunate place to have the tail at the time :lol  He does look good though. Since he seems to be the next component in line for the Legends scale TK, then I take it that it won't be long before he ends up in the hands of collectors as well as Thorilla. I just find it a tad bit strange the order the figures for "Thundermini" are gonna be released. So far, one arm and one leg whereas for the MP figures, it's one arm, one leg, one arm with wings, upper torso with left foot, lower torso with right foot and the last leg. Hmmph..

I really like the fact that Landmini really does look distinct and different while still being identifiable as the same bot.

The transformations for the mini figures are far too easy. But I don't mind that at all. I'm just curious how "Kingmini" & "Thormini" turned out since last we saw of them..

Looks like Landmini got a complete redesign. Here is a comparison from the initial render pic.

I'm glad I got so much advanced warning about Firmament's combiner joint. I got it opened, enough to the point where I could take the screw cap off. In the process, I learned that there was absolutely no grease or lube on the ratchets at all! Blew me away. So I've fixed that... and hopefully it is still stiff enough that it can hold its weight. Unlike the wings which may have been over-lubricated. :D

I dig the new look for him. As a matter of fact, Cang did say countless numbers of times that the 5 remaining mini members were gonna be worked on and possibly redesigned. So I take it that Landmini wasn't the only one who got a complete make over. Can't wait to see how the rest of the team shaped up..

Thanks for the comparison pics. You can really see all of the differences between the two. He definitely looks a bit smoother and less busy as for as the sculpting details go. Still amazing to me the amount of detail on these figures at the mini scale. Cool stuff! Can't wait to see how the rest of the team turns out.

    HAH!

I went too far the other way. Too much oil in the wing attachment points and now Firmament can't splay his wings properly without them drooping.

    Damn my hubris!!!

Noticed that yesterday when I was putting the bots into combined mode form. Don't suppose anyone has a link to a specific page on how to best remedy the supah ridiculously tight combiner point on the bird?

Don't need a link if you have shock oil. It helps with very tight joints..

Apply to any *visible* bit of the ratchet then work the joint a bit to get the lube spread around? I think I saw a couple places where I can get the oil on the ratchet.

Wasn't sure if any disassembly was required.

Not really required, but best to do so to make accessing the peg as close as possible easier. You'll basically have to disassemble the top half to get it..

So when I did it, I undid the screw to get to one axis, and then put shock oil on the ratchet where it was visible from the top/bottom on the other axis. I did look really carefully before I did so to make sure I placed it on the right side...
