As this slowly comes together, it's like a Sunrise:
- shining more and more with time, everything becoming clearer,
- it's (subjectively) beautiful and unique even amongst many similar experiences,
- and I definitely can't own it

 

Kinglions third mode as the body looks so good, especially when the wings are added. Cang have done a great job for the combiner so far. Can't wait to see the pants

 

The stop motion in both of these videos for both figures is downright badass!

 

For me it's now $5 under what I had originally paid, and they split the difference with points (so basically store credit). I know that's not to everyone's taste, so hopefully they're amenable about how they refund the difference.

 

ShowZ refunded me with points about a week ago. Just up and added them without me even noticing.

They rock.

 

Ah, maybe they did that for me as well, not sure if they did. But did write that in my message, that I'm fine with store credit or points.

Edit: Aaaaand, that's exactly what they wrote me! They'll issue a further 300 points for the change in shipping charges. All is fine in the world.

 

Review for CT-07

 

Just checked my account and noticed 500 points refunded to me for the price cut compensation. I was wondering why my points balance was so high. Hmm, I could get used to being a ShowZ customer. At least I know I'm being treated right and know where my business is wanted (unlike some stores) *ahem* Anyways, they'll come in handy for any future purchases I plan on getting through them

Love the videos, but this is downright torture DX lol. Anyways, even though the shipment process is a bit slow, we'll have these guys in hand soon. Keep 'em comin' @daimchoc. You rock dude!  

 

like all triple changers one mode suffers. I'm surprised both the arms look so good in all modes. I just hope the outside rachets hold up over time on the tiger bot.

 

Even though I’m still on the fence about this set, I finally broke down and pre-ordered Kinglion with showZ ……because I couldn’t pass up $178 shipped, versus $240 elsewhere…..

 

I can understand the on the fence comment. This seems more gundamesque and doesn't really seem to "fit" in my collection, however, i do think it'll make an excellent example in my collection for this style. These guys look neat!

 

Yeah, it’s tough. It’s too stylized, but it’s going to be big and cool looking eventually. I mean, I’ve come this far….. three members in:/ It’s one of those times you do it for the sake of not NOT doing it…. I just don’t like how busy Kinglion is- Predaking’s right arm looks so out of place. And even while saving money, this is still going to be a $900 to $1000 Combiner. But I’ve reached a turning point and I shouldn’t even be spending the money- I’m taking care of my wife on home hospice. just moving forward like a zombie… I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. It’s something to look forward to. I decided I was getting out a couple days ago, and then yesterday I decided to get it anyway.

 

Well, since you're 3 figures in and already purchased Kinglion, might as well complete the set. You said it yourself. You came this far not to turn back. At this point, it's even harder to do so. I'm the type of person who goes in it for the long haul. Besides, with Raiden complete, my combiner list is officially complete. I got the ones I wanted out the deal and if MP versions are made somewhere down the line of Computron & Liokaiser (just to name a few) then I'll just consider them "upgrades" in my collection. Thunderking for me takes the cake on this one though, but still worth it. Btw, I'm praying/hoping for your wife's speedy recovery..

You can always cancel the order. You can always backtrack and sell it later if you change your mind. I wouldn't worry too much about feeling obligated to complete the set, cause these figures definitely stand on their own without needing to be a combined set (in my opinion).

I understand the needing to look forward to something, because it does help break the gloom. Just make sure it's something you WANT to look forward to.
