All I'm concerned about at this point of Chiyou's creation is 1.) the release of Kinglion in all his glory alongside his wolf friend 2.) the pricing of Kinglion either shortly before or a bit after the initial release and 3.) the color rendering for Thorilla when the time comes. We've already seen the rhino based off the pics from the expo as well as recent pics in "family" photos as well. Only thing is, Cang has yet to reveal both the second foot and the rhino with whatever names have been set for them. Probably won't be until either before or after Thorilla's release. And let's not forget their mini mes as well lol..

The thrill of taking things literally lmao! But on a serious note, anyone knows what happened to the outer pieces that connect to the cannons of Kinglion? The color rendering shows them and so do 3 other color rendering pics that was posted by Cang back in August, but not a single pic of the grey model has them. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed it either. It wasn't until shortly after Cang posted the grey model of Kinglion back in October that this was spotted..

 

Looks like they redid the front shoulders on the alt mode and integrated/mounted them there. Those are what originally helped to form the gestalt mane too, no?

 

this looks pretty awesome!!! I hope the feet have different molding to differentiate them. I am looking forward to color renders. How tall will this guy be? Will he be taller than Toyworld Constructor? This guy should be a beast. How does he scale with FT Omega? I always thought of this guy versus dinobots. hopw he fits in my Detolf LOL!

 

Will the head parts form or is it inside Kinglion?

 

Nothing in this set partsform save for Firmament's wings, combined mode gun and sword.

 

Sorry, no parts forming. The head is inside Kinglion. I take it probably something similar to MMC's Leo Dux (Razorclaw) in combined mode. Then again, may be a little different..

 

So many questions, how to answer lol. Well, I believe the same mold will be used for the feet, however, there will be some minor adjustments and changes that will be done to tell them apart. This combiner is said to be about 60+, taller than TW Constructor. Haven't seen him scaled with FT Omega, but I'm sure he'll scale well. It's cool on how great minds think alike cause I always believed that the dinobots were a worthy adversary to Predaking. And if you like these, you should check out what Cang Toys is planning as their next project when Thunderking is done..

I was answering someone else's question and like someone else just asked what 3 ships are you talking about? I'm now curious about this as well. Last time I checked, I don't remember seeing or hearing about any ships you speak of..

 

i can get down with cang predacons' zoids meets TF meets gundam aesthetics. their dinos may be a bridge too far for me aesthetically. they aren't dinobots so much as dinosaurs that turn into robots that happen to be colored similar to TF G1 dinobots. snarl is the only one with a passing resemblance. would almost be better if they stopped referencing g1 at all and go different colors.

Wondering if Thunderking will actually have the stability and articulation to hold that massive sword two-handed? That would be a real testament to the stability in gestalt mode.

 

The physics of it alone would suggest the answer would be no. Then again, John Holmes was somehow able to stand upright without falling over so what the hell do I know?
