I hope not. Really don't like the mane or whiskers

 

They're great, but I don't shop from them often due to international shipping, which is really the only sacrifice. Their rewards program is honestly unmatched when upgraded to Premium.

 

Not sure about Razorclaw. Alt mode looks awesome, but the bot mode is so so.

 

Looks different, but cool, I think the back cannons are not only the cannons, but also where the combiner ports are.

I do like that, I welcome some variety.

 

Well, I'm out. Strong start, but fumbled with the torso bot. Looks too much like a piloted mecha rather than an actual transformer. And it's been changed so much as to not even be recognizable as the original character.

 

Man, I hate to say this...
I don't like the design of Razorclaw, either.
This is of course my opinion, but I don't like the shape of the mane, or the "I'm just a megazord that stood up" robot mode.
Also not a fan of the beast wars silverbolt face.
Yeah... Really rather bummed, personally

 

My biggest issues with this design are the mane (doesn't look like a lion especially since it's one of Predaking's most iconic features) and the headsculpt (it at least needs a visor like Razorclaw typically has).

 

Honestly I want more like these. Kinda tired over the same transformers looking the exact same every time with only a new paint job or gimmick each time.

 

Also-cats have necks. Lions have necks. Ferocious has a neck.
Dis man? Dis man right here? No neck.

 

I imagine not-Primal and not-Headstrong will be a return to the cleaner look of Ferocious and Landbull.

 

I think I'm mostly OK with the robot mode. I'm sure it will look much cleaner with the guns removed.
That lion mode has just put me off, though.
I mean, I still pre-ordered it, so.....

 

We can't judge any of that until we see more pictures. You really can't judge if he has a neck or not by that one picture. I'm sure he's going have a neck and not just be stuck in straight pose like that I guarantee.

 

Agreed, this new take for Razorclaw is cool too. The guns / wings give him a Gundam like appearance which I don't mind.

According to CangToys, Razorclaw "gun-wings" will also help Divebomb's wings to form Predaking's and make his wingspan wider.

 

I get that. These are merely first impressions.
I'm just getting a lot of perfect effect leo Convoy vibes, and I'm not a fan so far.
I'm hoping with better pics it will put my mind at ease. Like I mentioned, I am still picking him up, it's just not what I was expecting/hoping for.

 

I hope they will make his arms bigger.

 

Yeah it took me by surprise too, but fortunately I like the design, it's different but it's growing on me.

 

Where is the predaking head hidden? He better has LED eyes!

 

Yeah, the more I look at the pics, I do like it more than I did, but there is still something "off" about it for me.
I could not care less if it looks like "Razorclaw", so much as a cool lion.
Time will tell.
