I Wanted predacons not zoids!

 

“Birdlike Dinosaur thing” might be more accurate. Not sure why they posed them like this, except to celebrate Thanksgiving.lol

And they are literally displayed combined with these figures, which has been discussed already. The crab hands have Predaking knuckle claws. “Razorclaw” and “Rampage” were Beast Wars crab names, and they are going for a Beast Wars theme with this set. No Piranhacons/Seacons, and no mention anywhere of them doing them.

Now they definitely have my attention with that new Predacon.

 

I don't like that the robot doesn't really look enough like G1 Tantrum's robot mode. Like I said, it's fine for people who dig the stylized look, but for me he needs the bull head on the robot head, and his chest needs to have that big rectangular slab on it.

 

I rather like the look of these...Even in the best of times I'd never be able to afford them, but I like em.

I also always liked combiner concepts that try and make everything do something, and the hands becoming a little crab bot is a special bit of brilliance. Even if it has nothing to do with the original, just as an idea of the hands becoming it's own little drone bot thing is rather inspired.

 

They seem CHUG scale. It will be very hard to convince me to replace my Feral Rex, but...we’ll see.

 

Guess we will see. Loser buys the hookers, deal?

Kinda cool they decided to make the combiner hands and sword transformable even if it isn't G1 accurate, I already have the jinbao feral rex but this is cool looking enough that it might be worth the upgrade, although I'm not sure if I could afford the set going by the cost of toyworlds other combiners?

I noticed that on showzstore, still high cost even for a sale item lol

 

These will likely be around $100 each. Easier to buy them as they come out

 

Now that they are going for original Im kinda interested. I think adding another member could reinforce its structure (assuming the gorilla is for waist to thigh portions?) Now that razorclaw can just be the upper body could add a lot of volume to the overall torso.

 

Keep both. That's my plan regardless if this is Chug scale or not. I just like Predaking/Cons overall design.
