Firmament's combiner peg.

Now that more people formed Thunderking.
Has there a solution been found on how to get Firmament's combination peg easy(er) out?

To me, it was easier than I thought. I used a small flat screwdriver and it popped out without much hassle and damage. I was honestly surprised.

 

Personally going to keep originals on and save new ones incase they break..however since I'm still waiting on my rino not sure my 2 cents is worth more than 2 cents

 

I use the lubricant marketed for Rubiks cubes. It's plastic safe and usually comes with a small enough nozzle to get into the small joint areas. Made everything much easier to move.

 

I'm glad someone else feels the same way. Absolutely love Cang's interpretation of the Predacons, but being a child of the 80's it's hard for me to wrap my head around the Dinobots being a combiner and Gigapower fills that niche perfectly for me. I have no clue why my brain easily accepts Thunderking and not stylized Dinobots, lol

 

I tried combining my dinobots as a kid. Very unsuccessful

 

Mine looked worse than that

 

I am more open to different interpretations rather, but only as long as they look cool to me.

Blimey, and I thought PotP Volcanicus looked crap...

 

Hope Cang does something to really creative for their Dino-combiner head than just fancier Grimlock head.


But not that.

 

Does anyone have a comparison picture between cangtoys thunderking and planet x apocalypse? can they send it? preferably with like another figure for scale like mp44, light of peace or mm01 or whatever

 

Except that Pledge doesn't make that product anymore. They stopped production almost two years ago.

Best substitute I've found so far is Quick Shine in the green bottle. Not quite as good as the old pledge and requires an extra coat or two, but it will get the job done.

 

Speaking of which, hopefully after the CNY period we get to see the combined mode for the Dinobots!

Oh God, no it's him! No dammit! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! The one thing that we shall never speak its name!!!    

 

I completed Thunderking today.
To be honest, I am disappointed.
Because of these Facts

- He is far to heavy, and nearly collapses because
of his own weight
- The Sword is very loose in Hand, even with closed
Palm around the Sword Handle, it comes off very easy
- Same goes for the Cannon, very loose in Palm,
and very loose on the Arm Attachment
- RazorClaw is far to Spikey
- The Spikes around the chest fall off to often
- The Spikes DO REALLY Hurt
- The Combine Process is far to stressful, to much force
is needed to actually lock all pieces into place, and
in addition to that, RazorClaws Spikes do really hurt.
-There is almost no Tolerance at all when it
comes to lock all the Pieces into Place.

- All the Combiner Pegs on Rampage, Divebomb
and Tantrum are an ABSOLUTE HELLISH Nightmare to get
them out! This is really not funny.
I understand that they need to be tight, but NOT
that tight, Jesus!

Really sad about the combined Form.
To much force is needed to actually put him together.
I think I will Display the Figures on their own.

The Individual Bots, mainly Gorilla, Divebomb
and Rhino are absolute Masterpieces.
But the Combined Mode, similar to TFC Predaking
is a whole Mess.

I can only hope Volcanicus turns out to be better.

 

I'm sorry you are having a poor experience.
I can only speak for myself, but I've not encountered many of these issues.
