I keep hearing about this Kiki stuff. What is it and how good is it on TF figures? I might need to order some to have on deck for some of my figures, probably in the future..

Just watched Emgo's review for Thunderking.
The comparison with MMC's Feral Rex at the end. It's insane!
I have no idea where to display him yet in combined mode, but hell yeah, this is one fantastic figure!

I think it is, but I don't know if there is room for it to move

Stupid question time! Can anyone actually confirm that the replacement knee brace hooks that come with HugeRhino are worth installing? I've got halfway through doing one and not only does it seem as tight as it was before (I thought the hole was bigger but the difference seems to be negligible), but I'm now struggling to get it all the way back into place. Dunno if I can be bothered with the other one if this is the effort it takes... what am I missing here?

Emgo review 6:54 got explain where to start, plug from the back then around and lock at the side. It definitely stand and move more stable if lock on. Maybe knee or leg cannot move not all the way to back. But i try before almost 90 degree should be no problem.

Thanks, but my issue isn't where to use them when combining Thunderking... it's whether it's worth me installing the replacement hooks in the first place. The ones that came with HugeRhino look absolutely no different to the originals (the peg length is the same, and the hole through the middle doesn't seem any bigger, so they're not looser to move), so I don't know if it's worth the effort to swap them over.

I've finished doing one now so, really, I might as well do both. Just dunno if the pain I now have in my fingers is worth it.

IIRC the originals were prone to breaking when combined because they were too tight a fit, so doing the replacement prevents that from happening.

Yeah, they are a slightly softer plastic.
It was... Not fun, replacing them, but I fount them to be much more forgiving, once attached.

I didn't plug them in before. Replaced the pieces and still haven't plugged them in. I just dont think he needs them. Just my opinion. And yeah mine were insane to replace

I’m a child of the 70s/80s myself, but I never liked Zoids. I do usually appreciate stylized interpretations of the characters— and Landbull is a keeper— but the artistic direction Cang went with for much of this set just isn’t my thing. It’s too ostentatious and overkill for my tastes.

However, I’m confident that I’d have little interest in a Fanstoys Predaking— for example— because it would just be plastic versions of the boring cartoon models. MMC’s Feral Rex is more my style, but what I really want is for Iron Factory to design the Predacons along the lines of their Iron Samurai series. I’d be all-in on that one.

As far as I know it’s basically the same thing as floor polish— just clear acrylic polymer. You can buy a quart of Pledge Floor Gloss (used to be called “Future”) for about the same price as an ounce of Kiki. I’ve had the same bottle for a decade, have wasted more than I’ve used, and it’s still nearly full.

HA! I knew it. I knew someone had to have mentioned that in a review somewhere. I know I’m not smart enough to have figured it out on my own.

THIS. Don't waste your time and money on finding Kiki's and just go to your local large hardware store and get some floor gloss, lol. Its literally the same stuff.
