Nice. I didn't go down quite the same route as you, since I did it before the other metallic members showed up, but I did take umbrage at Landbull having teeth the same colour as his face. A quick touch with a silver paint pen soon solved that, though now he looks he's got some kind of crazy grill going on...  



Right now, I hate Ferocious. His weird orange (especially on his biceps and shoulders) just looks wrong compared to the others. Would I buy a redo? Probably not. But hey, he'll be an arm soon and then I won't care as much.

I was wondering, now that Thunderking is complete and he is one big cohesive mass that can actually stand and pose with the extra bits and bots, I'm very curious in how they will do that with their Volcanicus. I won't be surprised if they decide to introduce two original bots to serve as feet. I know, CT has confirmed that their Dinobots will be six bots and not more and I defended that statement, but I'm starting to lean more into the additional bots routine.

 

Good thinking. I will say, for me, I'm out for the Dinobots. I'm already at capacity space-wise, money isn't as free flowing as it used to be, and I did promise my partner that once my current ShowZ pre-order list empties, I'm done. Whether that last one stays true or not (Magic Square Bruticus, I'm looking at you) remains to be seen, but I've never been in for combining Dinobots anyway so I can resist that one...

 

ok, Rhino reviews are done, combiner review is currently chugging through Adobe Premiere...
Here's what I got, for now.

 

So does the paint of the last few releases really stand out next to the first two? From all the photos it looks like Rhino is a bit too metallic compared to Bull.

 

I think they look good next to each other. I also was concerned that they would look too disparate, and while they do, I think it still works as an overall team asthetic.

 

I still wouldn't be shocked if the Dinobots combine into a bigger dinosaur.

For Volcanicus I would love it if that happens or a dragon combined mode for the Dinobots. Just dont make Volcanicus Preadaking but with the Dinobots same as what GCreations did.

Would it not be better to place it on top? Whenever I see a Zeta combiner inside a detolf they often look cramped and are placed in stiff poses with their weapons down due to lack of space, and this is even larger and has wings.

 

Out of curiosity as I haven't been able to see any info, does anyone know where the extra bits from Thorilla's hammer and gun go?

 

In the wolves when they are transformed into feet. Look In the instructions that came with Thorilla.

No problem! Look very closely at the pictures, and it will all work out.

It also helps if you install the two pieces that came with Thorilla into Landbull. EmGo's review of Thorilla shows how those are installed. They are the two small pieces with hinges.

Yeah I had the land bull one figured out before but I guess because he didn't review the foot again the parts weren't covered. Thanks a lot though. Just finished installing the foot parts. Should have asked yesterday before I put him together

 

Again, no problem. It makes the whole thing more stable. I really like how CangToys made their decisions. This beast is the biggest combiner I have, and also the most stable. It's incredible.
