giant hairless mecha gorilla with a helmet on. What an excellent disguise.

 

I'm not sure that the giant robot animals are trying to actually disguise themselves very hard.

 

I always think of the mecha-beast forms as Assault modes rather than Disguise modes. Like, the Autobots needed some heavy-hitters when they were building the Dinobots, so they made giant fire-breathing robot dinosaurs instead of say, construction vehicles. The Predacons, Terrorcons etc. all came across at a time when the Decepticons had superior forces and were less worried about Disguise and more concerned with general military superiority (and for the psychological shock-and-awe impact). When you're a small force of ~10 warriors on an occupied alien world staying unnoticed is pretty important, but when it's been 20 years and everyone knows you're there anyway you can just straight-up go for a bunch of weaponed-up mecha-beasts and add some teeth and claws and horns into the mix.

 

Yeah like how in IDW there was the infiltration phase. All the beasts and non-human vehicles come after the infiltration phase when everyone knows about their presence and in circumstances where disguise is unnecessary.

 

Looks like the release date has been bumped up to the 20th of this month for Landmini. I may be wrong..

Combiner feet as stands, nice!

Really liking the efficiency of using feet as stands.

But I wish Cang went with posing hands ala Iron Factory, they really do add to the bot mode poses. But how long/often will these actually be in bot mode =]

 

It won't be much longer. Still waiting for ShowZ to reveal their price for this one. Money already burning a hole in my wallet  

 

I avoid buying legend scale figure but this little bull looks fantastic! The question is whether to buy these set or buy the larger bull and rhino or none ……..

 

They'll be in bot mode until the set's done  

And yeah, it would be cool if we got newage/IF hands

 

My issue is do I double dip to display like I have with these others? I'll have the MS Combaticons on the 3rd shelf, so these guys would occupy the bottom.

Ha! Wouldn't have the room to triple dip combiners. Nor the want. Double dip is good cuz bot mode.
