FYI… BBB has both rhinmini and landmini as $36 before shipping in their description. if shipping is approx $10-15 that would make them about $46-51 each. making them less than $60 and cheaper than the re-issue of firmini of $57 from ShowZ.

interestingly, BBB also has firmini at $42 before shipping. and with shipping, it appears to be more expensive than getting it from ShowZ.

if possible, i'd be content to get each of these for under $50, and even happier getting them for under $45. that could be possibility from ShowZ if they're shipped price is again lower than from BBB.

I believe the big ones are done/close to being done, this one's from the undersized legends one they're doing.

 

MP scaled one is finished and looks amazing. This one is the legend scale and is not to far along.

 

Hm, not sure I wanted to sign up for all the extra guys when I started ordering the Legends Predacons. Might just treat them as standalone without a combined mode and skip the extras.

 

Before you know it, right around the time of Rhimini's release next month (if not sooner), Thormini will be in color and covered in tampos and the next silver prototype of either Feromini or Kingmini will be released. At this point, people are gonna have to play "catch up" to get caught up on this set. Even the MP figures weren't being released this fast. Sheesh..

 

Who are the other "extra guys"?
They're not doing the wolf-feet and crab-hands for the smaller scale figures are they?

 

Not sure! I figured if they’re doing the gorilla they might do the other add-ons as well. If not, then I miiiight go ahead and get Thormini as well. But separate hand and foot bots might just be too much.

 

Nah, as far as can be seen currently, the mini-guys are just the six. The hands don't do crab and the only thing the feet do is work as a stand if not in foot mode.

I remembered looking at the number of purchases, coming to the conclusion that the gorilla was the only new team member, mentally figuring out the cost and deciding to move forward.
Of course, that was when Mini-Firmament was $34.
Now they are all nearly $60.

I’m glad I assumed Firmini’s low price was a Honey Pot deal to suck people in, I expected the price for the other five to be twice what he was so there’s no sticker shock for me here.

 

i think the price was an honest price when it came out. it is just the world that changed everything about their release. the lead times and factories constantly shutting down and the covid restrictions that keep popping up have done nothing but push that price up.

with that said for what we are getting i think these will be pretty fair moving forward. if zeta does one thing right above all it is giving their customers a great bang for the buck.

 

I wonder if Thormini will come with the arm cannons like his MP counterpart? Would be a bummer if he didn't..

 

While the prospect of a Predacon gorilla is intriguing, I will always appreciate him more as a salve for my aversion to "Pantsforming". It seems to me that this gorrilla figure could have easily been made as a lower torso/upper leg-and-knee combo accessory, but they made it a fully converting member of the team, which is a pretty cool idea. Maybe he could be the team's Armorer/Mechanic/Medic that does the behind the scenes work, and is very rarely out on the front lines.

Perhaps this is "mental gymnastics" to justify my unnecessary neuroses, but I have virtually no issues with Partsforming or Pantsforming when said accessories convert into something useful on their own. Even though this was never a featured part of the fiction anywhere(except possibly in the various "toy" continuities), it just makes the whole thing seem a bit more of a "complete" idea to me.

Apologies for the philosophical sidebar. Glad to see this badass Predaking coming together. Looks like we might have some Legs available by the end of the summer, maybe?

Well, Landmini is to start shipping the 15th of this month and Rhimini will be shipping the 15th of next month. With that said, we should have both legs by the end of Spring. The pants may be a Summer thing. But we still have yet to see the upper torso and the other arm. This entire set should be completed probably in the Fall..

 

Where are you getting the release dates from?
