Mini firmi was priced cheap because Cang Toys wanted everyone who ordered big firmi to get a discount on the mini version. ShowZ probably missed that memo and sold it for the discounted price to everybody.

i don't think it was just ShowZ and believe it was priced at a very good deal at a lot of retailers when it was first released.

The discount price was for anyone who bought the original figure. They could get this guy for equivalent $16-$17 dollars, and apparently that was pretty much at-cost. Then it turned out to cost them more after everything happened. The $28-$32 price was retail, though the effect of cost would have hit this too to some degree I'm sure.

Regardless of firmini's launch price or the rest of the set, please don't buy it from TFSource...

I'm thinking once all of these get released, Cang may be more likely to sell these in a box set, since they're so much smaller. Hopefully they will get the whole set out within the next year or sooner hopefully.

True. I got mine from BBTS and it was in the ballpark of only about $29.

The smaller scaling tones down the overwrought designs of the larger figures, making them look more cohesive and less ostentatious. Nice.

i don't see any reason for them not to be done this year. Cang is finally finishing up their big bot. all the minis are well past proto stage. so now all they really need to do is focus on the factory time and logistics of this release. in theory that should be the easiest part of it all.

I just noticed that it looks like we won’t be getting legends versions of the transforming feet either. I know the hands on the legends don’t do anything either, but I thought the feet would be a different story. Hope the hands and feet at least store together like you get with the IF Bruticus set does with its combining bits.

I'm just hoping they eventually do a black repaint box set, Nero Rex style.

the feet are flight stands if i remember correctly. but if not it is no big deal. they can just get tossed into the parts tub like all the other random bot shit i have.

Wish Landmini came out at the same time as MiniFerimi then. I wouldn’t have spent money on flight stands for him.

Have you no other figures deserving of flight? Or at least a cool jumping pose?

I usually collect the generations line and hardly ever dive into 3rd party. So not really lol.

ShowZ has mini divebomb reissue up for incoming at 57 USD.

Looking like a 300 USD set if all the other figures follow suit (divebomb has extra plastic for his wings, but the other figures will need to include the feet and hands).

I skipped the MP line after calculating how much it would cost. I was okay with <$250, but I guess I'm going to have to figure out if I want to complete the minis now too
