it'd be nice if people were more careful about this. I've been avoiding the movie discussion forum, but i still see thread titles that give away info that I don't want to know until midnight on June 23rd.

at least put SPOILERS very prominently in the title so that we know not to read the rest of the title.

well first we'd have to explain to people what a spoiler actually is since they love to use the word freely like a chimp with a banana

    AYE.

It's getting on my nerves, too. People assume way too easy 'everybody knows', or just don't think at all.I like to be surprised about the plot and any twists that might pop up during the movie.

Though I think I pretty much know more than I'd like, I agree with this too. I don't mind if there is proper wording, but people got to realize that if your thread title is "You won't believe what happens to so and so" well its a pretty good indication that they might get wasted or something like that may happen. I had this problem with the first movie and Jazz.

Definitely, I hate spoilers. I mean I don't mind watching the trailers and knowing most of the characters, but learning the outcomes of the movie already takes the excitement out of the movie.

Definitely agreed. We've all already done as much as we possibly can to avoid spoilers, short of avoiding TFW2005 altogether. But a bad thread title is pretty tricky to avoid.

I totally agree with this sentiment - you can't even view the main page of this forum anymore without some idiot posting a thread with the spoiler in the title.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with some people in this subforum. Are they just inconsiderate or just stupid? Perhaps they are both.

You don't even have to be in this forum for that to happen. You can just be browsing the boards list and accidentally see a thread like that if it happens to be the one with the most recent activity.

Yeah !! must of us (myself included) tent to have a hard time resisting to the word spoilers and when you check it out it tents to be just another dumb idea or comment out of place or ANOTHER JAZZ thread !!! But pretty much your point is valid, There should be a control on it !!!

    too late for me.

Some chimps have already mentioned who is dying, how Alice looks like in her robot mode etc etc.

    DAMMIT.

Coz why? They didnt say spoilers in their threads.

Just throwing this out there, I wish people would stop making their text silver to hide text. Seriously, it's hard to see when you WANT to see it. Just use the spoiler tags.

There are a select few people who get perverse pleasure out of spoiling things for people. I don't mean to criticize the way this forum is run, but might suggest that the mods take a cue from IMDB, who will ban your ass if you post spoilers without a spoiler tag.

Judging from past discussions, I don't think they care enough to get strict about it. We'll just have to make do until after the movie hits.

    I. AGREE.

They're like the people on Wikipedia: they write anything down. Thanks to the aforementioned website, I have accidentally learned what happens to Scalpel.

WHY? WHY? WHY CAN'T THEY EVER LEARN?
