Specifically ground-based acrobatics. We've seen Optimus do a forward flip from a stationary position. Even Ratchet who's duty is that of a medic. Can we also assume that Demolishor (giant two-wheeled bot at the start of RotF) and Leadfoot (the stumpy red Nascar) are capable of such things?
I laugh every time I see the 'bots rolling around in 'bot mode. Forward rolls everywhere! Roll! Roll! It's like as long as they keep rolling, they're safe from enemy fire.
Wait when was this again? I do not remember that... can someone please tell me, so I catch it next time? Now regarding the question, yeah I think most of the bots learned evasive/aerobatic maneuvers after the war began because it was necessary to survive and are basic fighting tactics (for them anyway).
Why on earth would we be able to assume that? Optimus and Ratchet are obviously physically fit (for acrobatics) Cybertronians, along with Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Mirage, and some others. There are still those that probably aren't fit for acrobatics(the only time Ironhide actually flips in the air is with the assistance of his huge guns, and in the third movie youll notice that he's sluggish but extremely effective on the battlefield - also Que, Megatron, and a ton of Decepticons. I seriously think it depends on the bot.
RotF scene where Optimus crashes through the roof of the abandoned factory. 'Physically fit' applies only to humans. These are robots, even Jetfire who was extremely low on energon since his Allspark revival was able do a tumble roll before cleaving a decepticon in such a condition.
