Can someone explain what's up with younger retro millenials?

Before WW2, I'm sure the generation preceding them had some choice words as to their quality.

If I was born in 1989, I just made it into the millennial group, right?

    Smack right in the middle.

I think if you received ribbons for doing practically nothing in school, you're right there. :lol

I've been on uboot.com in 1999. First social network I was registered. Not to forget all the boards I'm registered on.

...By this statement, you clearly didn't understand what I was saying. By being in "The Greatest Generation", doesn't make you great. My great grandfather and his brothers were literal card carrying KKK members, alleged arsonists, and walking pieces of shit. They aren't great just because they are part of "The Greatest Generation". Most Millennials aren't worthless crybabies, most of GenX aren't shiftless lay-abouts, and most of the greatest generation didn't do anything great.

80s kids had the best childhoods. TV shows, cartoons, toys, video games, we were the epitome of awesome media before everything went to shit with the internet.

Everyone wants our childhoods but they can't have them. So instead they take their revenge to ebay where they drive up the prices of things we are still collecting from our childhoods.
It's quite a devious plan but screw them I have a faster clicking finger (also something acquired in the 80s from arcade shooters).

After all, the generation preceding them had to raise them despite the Great Depression.

I'm not really a millennial, but I believe both sides of the argument are flawed. No generation is perfect, and the current day in age isn't all that bad, but I despise most social outlets, especially most music.
I don't really have any ties to any generation. I don't find any particular generation perfect. They all have things I like and dislike. I don't relate to any culture, or demographic. I don't like classical music. I don't like Rock music. I don't like rap. I don't like country. I don't like live action shows besides Star Trek TOS. I don't find anime to be perfect as a whole. I prefer animation (not necessarily anime) over live action, as long as the animation isn't stereotypically cartoon-styled. I prefer the 90's lower quality animation, especially in 90's anime like Berserk and NGE.
The only thing that I connect with is nature and Shiro Sagisu's music. I feel great living in this current time, as I'm blessed to hear new music that he creates.
Millenials are probably trying to find a group that they fit in with. From what I've learned, humans have a need to be in groups. They don't believe they fit with their current social groups, thus we have Weeaboos and GeeWun fans.

I recently found out I was a millennial. I thought you had to be born after 1990 to be a millennial. Those classifications are pretty useless all things considered.

I think it'd be great if everyone stopped judging each other for things they can't control about themselves and just judged them on how much of an asshole they are.

I was born early 90's, and thanks to my nerdass father, we got to experience Atari, Sega Gen, NES and Gameboy. Don't know why it's so impossible for some to think youngsters couldn't have experienced products of older ages. Some trends and products survive time, especially when technology was slower to come out of the factory unlike now (or other factors, like a third world country releasing certain products about half a decade later...).
