The Transformers wage their war, unrelated to Earth and humanity, and yet it has come to our world.
I always thought this was a pretty epic tagline. So much hype in that ‘07 Summer.
Basically the Autobots and Decepticons bring their war to our planet, just like in G1 and so many other iterations of the brand.
i drew a picture to explain
Basically, their war has come to our world.
At first I thought "Their war." Referred to the humans.
And "Our world." Referred to the Autobots not even being interested in battle and it was the human's battle. Also them wanting to live on our planet.
Thanks for the explanation.
I gotta say, I do love this tagline.
how many other worlds do you think they have brought their war to?
how many species among the stars feel like they can't avoid getting caught in a cybertronian crossfire no matter how hard they try? Nebulos and Earth may have learned to accept them but surely the whole universe.
Are transformers a cancer to the universe? I mean they just come to all kinds of planets and keep fighting in the image of whatever they find there causing unimaginable destruction.
Those Quints really don't realize what kind of mistake they made by not glassing Cybertron when they had the chance.
Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons here on Earth.
I don’t mean to sound rude or anything but how the hell did you get that from “Thier war, our world”? “Our” clearly means us and “their” clearly means them. Again I don’t mean to sound rude, just really curious.
"Their" and "our" could refer to the humans and Transformers.
But "our" can never refer to Transformers you know..
their war "in" our world
this post is underrated
And there's no more Lockdown to clean up the mess.
Bottom line is, a good xeno is a dead xeno.
If it ain't human, kill it.
It's only appropriate that you dropped the "heroic" for the Autobots, given how it's about a movie faction led by a face ripping psycho. :X
If only they allowed themselves use more of the story they were adapting maybe Lockdown could have had Overcharge drones to do that job by AOE, supplies by literal Quintessons.
But yeah it’s everyones problem now.
I had a an idea that Lockdown would have been very organised and prepared, and would continually back up his memories and personality wirelessly to a hard drive on the Knightship. On him being killed, the backup would upload the stored data to one of the drone clone crew members, which would be his new body (hence why they look so much like him).
