Agreed. Coincidentally, I started a trial for 15 days free of GameFly (along with a $10 Best Buy credit) and they already shipped out Transformers WFC today.

Go here and log-in (or register) at Best Buy for their rewards program. Once logged in, check for the GameFly promotion, click through the link, and register with GameFly for a 15 day free trial. Best Buy will deposit 600 points in your Reward Zone account, which is good for a $10 certificate, merely for the trial.

TL;DR: Transformers WFC (and another game) for 15 days and $10 to Best Buy, all for free.

Seriously dude? No one in their right mind is gonna rent out a $50 game to someone they have never met before thats in a completely different state. Its just not gonna happen. Just go rent it at a store or on GameFly, or check locally on CraigsList.

and yet nobody has a problem paying people for their Junkion goods......

interesting theory you have there. My name would be on file with the loaner, so where would the problem be?

How about if you dont want to help, just keep quiet.

    oh snap what a concept

    oh snap what a concept

I live in Boise freaking Idaho and I can name like three rental stores off the top of my head that rent out games for less than 8 dollars a week. I actually have a copy rented out for Dirge121 right now.

Good luck, though. If I owned it I'd lend you it :)

The difference is a "seller" doesn't have recourse (through Paypal) in this situation. If the game gets damaged, goes missing in the mail etc, what collateral are you offering in advance to guarantee the rentee doesn't get gypped?

Personally at a minimum, I'd want the full value of the game + shipping in advance before loaning my game.

Problem is that he doesn't have the money to buy the game, he's not gonna pay a $50 deposit. I say, just go rent the game.

Alternatively, he can wait until around Christmas 2010 and the game should be discounted to about $40 or even maybe $20 by then.

Check out the thread below, same guy is talking about scalping/ flipping figures to make some extra cash because he is jobless. Giving another member grief about factoring in gas money for a favor and then tries to nickel and dime people here to rent a game?? Sorry but this is an epic fail for me!
