Hey there ladies n gents! Well, the title asks what I want to know. I kinda broke parts of my rotf leader prime repaint, and I need to get ahold of new parts. So, does anyone know for sure if hasbro would do this? I'm going to try irregardless, and I'll post my results if anyone is interested, but I'm wondering if anyone else here has had to do this before. Thanks much all!!
nope. there is however a whole sub-section of this very forum dedicated to customising transformers. temp-banned for a crime they didn't commit they were forced to hide on the TFW underground, if you have issues, and you can find them, then maybe you can hire... BLAM!BLAM!BLAM!BLAM! The Radicons! or the bits wanted forum. between the two of them you'll be able to fix him guarenteed!* edit: hey wait a sec, 2k posts?! ...i'm guessing you knew this already. *probably.
No, and if you send it back to them you won't get the same toy back. You will get something comparable. Although, with a leader figure you would probably get either Prime, Megs or Jetfire, unless they through in an animated leader or leftover Movie one leader toy.
I sent an e-mail about that damn Obi Wan and Jedi Starfighter scene, with mages since they said he was not supposed to be included, I got my Battle droid mailed. It was a agreat victory.
So, I sent them an email, which by the way, they do deal in replacement parts, but after I sent the email, I found a phone number and called. "They don't have parts currently available, and I should call bck in a couple of months to check back.." So yes, they deal in parts, but they don't have parts for figures that are currently on the shelves.... Lame ftl.. Thanks for the posts though guys! And ryan.j, yes I did know about the options on the boards, thanks for the lookin out though
whoa, whoa - go back - tell me more about the replacement parts hasbro do? are we talking only from the current lines, or whatever they have kicking around? will they ship to the UK? who did you email?! so many questions!
YouTube - THE A-TEAM intro but seriously if the radicons can't help you im not sure any one can you could try Ebay but you only usually see detachable parts on there
transrepro.com used to and I think still does produce replacement parts, but if it's not one he already produces, you'll have to have the part for him to mold. I'm planning on starting a similar operation next year. Edit: Just saw the part in the title that said FROM HASBRO!! Oops!
Yeah, this just got real. I've never heard of Hasbro ever offering anything but a replacement. Seriously, go into as deep detail as you can (without posting personal information, of course).
Replacement Parts Hasbro has done replacement parts for years, to bad their is never ever anything of value on the list
^ this, thank mega havok, I've been passed out since around the time Iasted posted here. Just go to the hasbro website, click on customer service. There's a replacement parts link, which doesn't have jack for a list, or an email option. I chose the email option. They ask for minor info, just your return email address. Once that's in, you specify brand and which line, which for tfs, there were a lot of lines to chose from. Anyway, then there's another area that needs to be filled being the area I chose replacement parts. Typed out my situation, got a confirmation email. Once I sent my email I saw there was an 800 #, I called and they said they didn't have. The parts, but the woman did even know which figure I was talking about, so I'm not even sure that she was looking at the right figure, but I did give her the #'s from the upper left corner of the box, so maybe she did have the right info.. Idk, but now I'm waiting on an email as well. We'll see I suppose.
Yea, it always seemed like a bunch of game pieces. I is almost tempting to test out. Maybe find the strangest thing on the list and tell them that my kid ate a whole bunch of them (monopoly hotels or something), or that that I have a limited vocabulary and need more E's for my scrabble set and see what their turn around time is. But that would probably be a waste of everyone's time.
The only TF stuff I spotted on the replacement parts site were for Beatmix and Ultimate Bumblebee, and something called Combat Fight with the number 41064, some kind of game as you could request controllers. Probably a Prime/Megatron punching-thing. The parts list for the other two weren't even that impressive, just Ult BB's missiles and Beatmix BB's cable.
Sorry to necro an old thread but it seems silly to start a new one for the same topic. I recently discovered a parts error with my Siege Soundwave and while googling to see if Hasbro does replacement parts I found this thread, however the replacement parts link posted earlier in this thread is now broken. Does anyone know if Hasbro still does replacement parts and if so do you know the new links? Thanks
This is the closest thing I could find: Contact Us I found a link that just went to the front of the Hasbro Pulse site, so I'm guessing that a lot of the (broken) links you found were from the previous site? Anywho, good luck.
Thanks, I'll give it a shot. As for the link I found, it was the one posted by MegaHavok earlier in this thread.
