The RV is pretty good. Hard to pose sometimes. Which one did you get, the normal or the Rebuild?
Normal. I cant wait till it gets here...! ty for yer help!
No problem. I recommend cutting off one of the connectors that connect the ankle piece to the lower leg and the foot. It gives it a bit more articulation
Yeah, the interesting thing is that they've started making them like that now.
The Rebuild looks awesome, though the green doesn't seem so show accutate. I almost feel bad for getting the SPEC.
EDIT: Is the neck longer on the Rebuild?
It's supposed to be movie accurate, and I love the new design of the knife storage. They should release a special version of the Rebuild 01's that have light up green
The rebuild version is based on the new movies thats coming out.
It's gonna be a series of 4 movies, with some changes: a new girl pilot, new Units, less Angels, and a new conclusion
Oh, I didn't know they were making new movies. Woo!
What is the new design of the knife storage?
Yeah, the new conclusion is the thing I'm looking forward to the most. Heck, maybe they'll actually not have Shinji still be just as pathetic at the end as he was at the begining. Sorry, I like characters to actually grow.
The top swings up, the knife goes with it, Eva pulls knife out and the knife straightens. Cool, really, and I think the shoulder pad won't have to be replaced to get the effect
Cool. What version is that one? I pre-ordered the SOC version.
EDIT: Oh, it's a kit.
Is the neck on the Rebuild Version of the SOC longer than the original?
By the looks of it, yes
I bought that exact figure so many dam years back for only about 10 bucks at a EB because it sat there forever. Its probably the best figure I ever purchased. Still pose it all the time with its Sword and Guns.
does Gamestop/Eb games still sell these type of toys?
It was just a random thing from like 5-6 years ago.
aww man.. if would be awesome if they still carried these..
That is a GREAT figure. It was my first Eva, and I grabbed it for $6 at a Newbury Comics. For $50...get a couple Revoltech. It is very posable, lots of neat accesories, but it is a moderately fragile toy, and the newer Evas are just as nice as far as I'm concerned. What a steal at $6, though.
Dang, that thing is slick.
On a side note, about four years back EBGames had some EVA figures. They were all on sale, so I picked up one of the Angels and a fig of Eva 01. 01's helmet came off, revealing his true form. They were pretty cool; I just wish I still had them. T_T
